I'm glad to see that a realism mod has already been set in motion for this game. When I first started playing Far Cry 2, I was very impressed. I loved the beautiful visuals and huge areas to explore. As I continued playing, however, I became more and more disappointed. Just as it has been stated numerous times before, the missions get incredibly tedious and things seem to just repeat themselves again and again. Perhaps what annoyed me most, however, was the combat. I could pound several shotgun shells into a single enemy, and he would stay perfectly upright, not even phased by his lethal wounds. Enemy snipers would have unbelievable sight, being able to spot me from miles away. I would try sniping myself, killing a single isolated enemy, only for everyone within a mile-wide radius to be alerted to my exact location in an instant.

If this mod were to be completed, and completed well, it could very much save Far Cry 2 for me and many other people. Best of luck with it.

It's always great to see people trying new things with mods, and I think this is one of the most creative. The environments were stunning, the voice acting was brilliant, and the slow building of the music around the script was truly impressive. Hearing the words of a dying man as you crawl through caves filled with strange inscriptions and symbols made me feel something that few other mods have managed to; emotion. Sometimes filling me with a deep sadness, and other times, fear. I look forward to any further creations from you.

I feel the same. Normally Epic's games are heavily modded, but for some reason, there's nothing for Gears of War.

Sounds pretty neat. Finally a single-player mod for COD4!

I agree with Jetsetlemming. This mod is just plain enjoyable, and the notoriety system works great. Nothing quite like blowing up a group of unsuspecting vigilantes with dynamite.

New engine you say? How about Stranglehold? :)
