When I ran through it for testing earlier in the year it seemed very close. Fully playable and completable with a full ending. To give a sense of what Turbo has left to fix, it's a matter of some late stage debugging of certain events, at least two level BSP issues that needed resolving that I noticed, and perhaps some final enemy tweaking during the late portion of the game. There were also some visual progression cues testers suggested that Turboman implement to help with navigation through certain parts.
Might seem like minor stuff, but Turbo is a busy man.
As some may have seen on the Battle for Na Pali Mod page (and as suggested by AL), the Demo for Savage Land has been released. This is the converged project based on many of Battle for Na Pali's ideas and salvaged levels from Residual Decay combined into one project. The page can be found here: Moddb.com
This is not an attempt to override BFNP OR RD, but rather a spiritual prequel to what BFNP intended to be AND also preserving content from RD in the process. The ultimate goal is to get this content out there for the community. The Demo, as stated, is live. Two new guns are featured as well as many vanilla adjustments to the basic loadout and some enemies. The Demo has a classic vibe and can be played on both Unreal/Unreal Gold 227i and Unreal Tournament 436 with oldskool.

Demo is playable, just fixing up some finer details. Trying to fix some COOP issues as well. I will post news some time this month.
