finally somebody put some love into that great game! I was thinking from time to time to make something for it, but never had a chance to try

funny, that effect was on the gun in the early Q3 test versions. dunno why they dropped it

From the changelog:
Units will now fire at multiple locations on most structures.

wait what? in original you can just shoot without having to wait? The updated version is a must. GMDX should be official
don't forget that bullets in magazines are in two rows. So new model isn't quite accurate too :)

New audio engine is cool. particles and debris are much better, the later reminds me of Quake 2.
for now my only complaint is about smoke clouds on bulet holes, they just looks off to me. maybe if they disappear faster...
what? I meant saves from 4.03. didn't know compatability broke that hard because of a few minor updates
as of 4.07 things getting worse. now even hud, load screen, radar screen and mission briefing screen is gdi's despite I load the nod save game.
this does not happen if I start a new game, save and then load it, only for saves from previous versions
the game corrupts my save file, what can I do now?
1) it's log in, but then I appear as an admin on the empty server
2) it happens to me either I start nod campaign or load saved game from game start, or restart map .
just found another issue - laser turret's, eh "turret", is misplaced sometimes
can't connect to cncnet. every time I try I get this Screenshot.su
also, in single player if play nod, the loading screens after 1st mission will always be the fist gdi one
community questions:
1) the third one looks cool but have to be done carefully. also this is a cool basement to somehow re-add silencer for pistol and laser sight for magnum.
btw. did any one else feels that current pistol logic is fubar? isn't it would be better if
a) holding left button - current primiry fire
b) tapping left button - fast shot (like in hl2/cs) with dropped accuracy
c) tapping left button slower or on par with holding it - accuracy as in a)
that way you can free secondary attack for something else
2) definitely the second one.
to comment on the video: while water waves looking neat, particles from crowbar on a concrete wall and wooden crate is just unrealistic - it will not produce a smoke cloud no matter how much you will hit it (ok, if you DO destroy it, it may happen but still much less dense :) Youtu.be ). same with glass shards - if you hit unbreable glass it will not produce any large shards, only small particles Youtube.com
that's a cool update! one thing missed though, a cannot use consumable bug

yeah, that is actually more of whishlist of things-that-could-be-fixed but ehhh
I had several issues, mostly minor:
1) I literally killed no one in castle clinton, only used sleeping darts, but somehow everyone thinks I made a graveyard
2) you can't make dogs unconscious. every non-lethal weapon kills em with one hit/shot
3) can it be possible to automatically ture lasersight on or at least remember, wheter it was switched on or off?
4) unfortunatelly I found damage weapon mod unbalanced, because with it you can make your sniper rifle effective doorbracker
two questions:
1) did you used fixes provided by unofficial 2.0 patch?
2) did you based your updated maps on GOTY or original released (actually newer and finished) maps?
