Baby Blues - Toddler Horror Game

Game review may contain spoilers

Baby Blues is a game with an exceptional atmosphere and tauntingly realistic graphics. However, the game fails to deliver a fear of turning the corner and rather gives the player the false feeling of anxiety while waiting for the next jump scare (which, sadly, become repetitive as they are the only actual "scares" in the game).

Five Nights at Freddy's

Game review

Five Nights At Freddy's carries forward a great idea but simply fails to execute it in a way that keeps the player on his or her toes. The game brings forth the element of suspense through its atmosphere and the blind spots of the cameras. Sadly, the atmosphere of the games is the only thing that's truly horrifying as every other element of the game fails due to predictable artificial intelligence and quickly-jaded jump scares.

The Forest

Early access game review

The Forest is a survival horror game which disappointingly failed to stand out amongst the others in its early release stage. Basic mechanics include a simple combination crafting system, repetitive close range combat (with the occasional flare gun kill), and mundane survival mechanics which are no hassle to maintain.

Ignoring the glitches (the game IS in development), the game tends to become repetitive. Combat fails to vary aside from aiming and pressing the mouse button. Shelter and building mechanics fail to entrance the player. Overall, the survival factor is pushed moreover to a "kill everything that moves" factor, as the mutants on the island fail to show human emotion over savage instinct.

Overall, The Forest is well suited for players looking for an average survival run through, but no more than that so far.

Pokémon3D

Game review

Considering Pokemon3D is in a development stage, it's a great modern twist on a nostalgic childhood game. The game looks great with its 3D textured buildings and addresses the challenge of keeping the Gameboy Colour look most of us remember.

Pokemon3D boasts an x/y grid movement system and a 360° look system which do not fit well together. When turning around, movement is slow and the controls become jaded overtime.

Overall, the game is definitely a must-try if you're looking for a well developed and unique experience!
