interestingly enough this screenshot reminds me of the polish wz.1938 "Maroszek" semiauto rifle... maybe it's the handguard shape :)
yeah, well...the classic M1918 has got a pretty bare-bone hand guard.... Though you gave me an Idea... Would the maroszek find common-place in a WWII scenario? I mean...was it used by the germans at some point?
I know the Polish made very few of them before Germans took over. If it was used ever in combat - i have no idea.
A Polish version of the US M1918 BAR was created : the Browning wz. 1928.
