i noticed that the tyranids cheat way too much, they almost never go feral even when their brain ship dies they have to be on low health for the morale to drop to 0, they can make jumps so long that they can reach the middle of the map on a minute and as they have onmicient vision (the rest of the faction AI also does this but nids dont ignore cloaked ships if they are nearer than visible ships) they are homming directly at you flag ship at the start zerg rushing (pun intended) when a battle starts.
Most of this stuff was on vanilla but the mod accentuates these things too much.
