I am a modeler that uses Google Sketchup 8 to make my models. i only know how to make the models, and I do not know how to add hardpoints and all of that.

If you download the SGI Rebellion 1.80 patch, it comes with all the races: asurans, asgard, human, goa'uld, and Wraith. however, most of these factions are incomplete, and it takes a few hours to get a good strategy going. for the asurans, start building aroura class ships ASAP. they are very powerful, and are very hard to destroy. and with the goa'uld capital ships, you dont have to do any research to unlock them.

I think I have isolated the problem with downloading the mod through the luancher. The luancher crashes about 3/4 the way while downloading the 1.0.0, so i just skip that one and go onto the next. im hoping this will work.

Ok, I got to the auto install part, but mid way through downloading the program stops responding, and auto closes. it has done this three times.

In a comment on the interregnum mod page, you said you were interested in the map I made. I have tried finding ways to post it on my account page, but it seems that Moddb cant post NULL files. So, I was thinking maybe you could send my your Email in a private message so i can easily email the map to you.

While I was playing on the version with all the factions available, i was allied with the asurans and I was a goa'uld faction. i noticed that my allies sent their titan unescorted to a wormhole with a large human fleet there. so i sent 3 Apophis motherships (The capital ship ones), and the asuran titan went through the wormhole, and when I was getting my 3 ships out (hull:9,500 Shields: 13,500 weapons: 650 Damage), the earth ships did something to disable my ships when they were about to phase jump, and their deadalus class ships and others pretty much one-shotted all my ships. on a scale of overpowerness from 1-10, these ships are a 120. I do find it both amusing and frustrating that my most powerful capital ships are like tissue paper to humans. anyways, I love this mod, especially the asurans.

I am having a problem. I used to play this mod all the time about half a year ago, but i upgraded my computer to windows 7 this past spring, and i forgot how i installed this the correct way. i remember i just put the mod file in the mods folder, started it up, and it worked no problems. but now, when i run it being installed that way, and the way specified, i get an exception. i already tried using the automatic installer, and it just messed things up. i basically opened all the patches and the mod, shoved in in the stargate mod folder, and launched it, and i used to always work. can someone give instructions in the shortest way possible to successfully install this awesome mod?

ok, so ive made a map based off of the star wars essential guide to warfare's galaxy map, but when i play it all the planets are in the right positions, they are just at different levels of the map. is there a way to select all the planets and stars so i can lock their positions all at one time? the map i have made has over 30 stars and 100 planets, and setting them all individually would take hours. when im done, i would like to give a copy to the Mod or make it downloadable.

an idea came to me in the shower. what if there were a special planet like kuat, only this one would be Byss, where the forces you have to destroy is a galaxy gun, 2 bellator titans, 1 executor titan, 4 tector SD, 5 IMP I SD, 3 IMP II SD, 6 Victory cruisers, and about 15-20 of the other variants of frigates all as a protecting force. and the special thing like the kuat drive yard structure would be a large station that can build an Eclipse or Sovereign class SSD. the immense defense force would make it extremely difficult to capture, and would not be possible to conquer until your fleet can actually defeat all the ships. also, maybe have 2 fully upgraded Jovan stations randomly placed just to make it even harder to take. Another idea came to me in the shower as well: i was thinking of ways to make it so that you can capture capital ships. I was thinking that a certain kind of ship would have this "Disable Capital Ship" ability, only unlockable at level 8. And i was thinking it would be something like "if ship does not have Boarded, Disables weapons, shields, all engines, phase drive, strike craft launch, abilities, Etc." for about 10-15 seconds, and the ability would use 200 Antimatter for more balancing, would have a 6 minute cool down, and if the capital ship gets "boarded after the ship is disabled, then it would have a 10-15% chance that the capital ship would come under your control. This is a rather long post because in 4-5 hours I will be leaving for 2 weeks on a backpacking trip to the Philmont scout ranch in New Mexico. I hope that you will consider these ideas. I think it would be neat if there were even a tiny chance that the TEC or other faction could capture a Star Destroyer.

the thought that that many kuats getting boring occured to me. i think ill try to make a map with kuat planets to start with as homeworlds. thanks for the help.

I found a planet option labeled "Kuat", so it seems it is labeled. But is there any way to set a map to generate randomly, but have 90% kuat planets, 5% Industrial planets, and 5% resource heavy planets? something like you type in for instance 85 in a number of planets slot, and then another thing would be under it indicating what percentage each planet has of spawning, so on all of them you would put 0, and for kuats you would put 90, industrial 5, and resource heavy 5. just an idea that came to mind.

Is there any easy way to make it so that there is a 99.99999999% chance that every planet in a medium map will be a Kuat type planet? i am curious how that would turn out having all those super star destroyers being available at all those planets. anyway, what is the easiest way to do this?

I would like to report something regarding all imperial research that has to do with reducing the cost of ships and their build rate. I did all research for reducing the cost and speeding up production, but the prices remain the same, and the production speed is also the same. Other than that, Everything else checks out ok. Incredible job so far, cant wait for the next release!

manual install. every time i try to install via launcher, i always get an error message 3/4 the way through. the things ive noticed when i luanch the mod is that i get an exception right when the loading screen starts. ive even tried moving the mod to the main data folder for the game (which has worked for all other mods) and starting it with the original game launcher.

ok, so after upgrading my computer this past winter, this mod seemed to now work anymore. ive tried reinstalling this mod ever since, and it never, ever seems to work anymore. is this mod incompatible with Windows 7 or something?

ok, so I was wanting to make the playable Borg faction about 50 times more powerful. so, when i went to try to edit the files, they were .entity type files, so i tried to change them to .txt files, and what was on the inside didn't make any sense. so, then i clicked on the "how to open" button, and it popped up a link, saying that .entity files did not exist. so, how does one open a file type that does not exist, yet is right in front of my face?

something I found while looking through the sound files was a file named VGer effect. It got me thinking that maybe something would be added in the future that uses this sound. i know the progenitor doesn't, and i haven't heard the sound in game yet.

It has inspired me to look beyond our flawed economys and governments and inspired me to think of technology that could work in our universe that is decades beyond our current advancements. it has also helped me socially by teaching me patience through Mr. Spock and Mr. tuvok. without star trek, i would not be where i am today. a big thanks to Mr. Nimoy for helping so many people understand and have second thoughts about the world we live in, and how we can change it to better ourselves as the human race.

one time i saw 27 bioships spawn in at my star. and at that moment, i knew that i was in for one He** of a beating. (I was borg with only a fleet of cubes. it was my old tactic.)

I have found an annoyance in maps larger than 60 planets. I started a new game on the Anvil system map. me, +2 allies and +3 enemies. the lag is nothing ive seen before. its not the 10 seconds ticks, the game just stops for 5 seconds, and then goes for 2, then stops for 5. and, if you click cinematic mode with this new pattern of lag going on, it crashes/freezes the game. i am running with the most recent version of CTA with the newest patch, and i recently updated my graphics card drivers.

on the topic of addons, is there any easy way to add a new station or use an existing one that is capturable and can build all neutral ships? i love the unknown flak frigates and cruisers.

if the borg were human players, then that fleet would get decked by that starbase. its just like when i attacked another human players unity-one starbase (full upgrades) with my borg mega fleet. i lost every single level ten ship and all my frigates.
