Lil Tanks Version 1.1 is here!
The first of two Kickstarter backer designed stages is ready to play! Check out the new underwater level as part of this free update!
In addition to the new stage this update brings the following changes:
- New Enemies
- New Achievement
- Fixed overlapping issues with main tanks
- Fixed visibility issue with Wayne's special where enemies and enemy bullets are covered up
- Fixed bug that caused special ability to recharge when powerups are picked up

Early on in production of Lil Tanks we had our blog up and running. As things got crazy leading up to release, the two of us were unable to keep up with everything on the website. Unfortunately that meant putting the blog on hold – but now we are back!
We are currently hard at work on additional content for Lil Tanks including new stages, new weapons and other gameplay tweaks. Be sure to check it out for updates on our progress as well as new on future Lead Money projects!
Last night we at Lead Money Games got to hang out with the guys at Orange Lounge Radio! We talked about the process of creating our very first game in Lil Tanks and discussed future updates for the title that will be arriving in the coming months.

Hello friends,
After two years, we've finally completed our very first retail game in Game Maker. It's called Lil Tanks and you can pick it up on Steam. It's a side scrolling shoot'em up with some RPG elements. You play as a tank with a little tank buddy that follows you around. We took inspiration from Gradius and other similar shoot'em ups.
We plan on releasing (at least) 2 more stages as free updates in the near future as well as potentially adding more weapon variety down the line.
We're super proud of the game and still can't believe it's out and on sale. We will continue to update you on the game's progress, in the mean time feel free to ask us anything.
