Sieges - I agree with this. It is kind of boring that is why me and my friends usually get someone to get inside first so we can open the portcullis when attacking. We have also worn the same armor as them at some point to avoid being shot from the walls as we approached. We just need something to break the gates down faster like a sapper. As for natives I don't think they are meant to take over territory. There needs to be some way they can earn a reward like raiding the trade carts, miners and the like. But that will interfere with everything else. It just require people to work together. Groups or clans do a hell of a lot better than everyone else because of organisation. If they are organised you can order skilled raids. But inside men are always the most important. Until siege weapons or alternatives are created they always will be.
Immigrants - When I was a highwaymen, immigrants were a pain in the arse as you said with highwaymen KOS everyone. Immigrants made it difficult to RP a robbery. They would just attack before I could type a message.
Multigunning - I hate this. ALOT. It removes the skill in shooting if you pack 4 different guns. Pistol reloading should also slow down your movement.
Bandits - As mentioned before highwaymen don't always get chance to RP because the immigrants attack you before you can post a message. Not all of them however do this. If immigrants lost gold it would make them less likely to start attacking everyone.
Crafting - Not sure about this. I don't usually do this. But from what I can gather there is not enough in the way of rewarding people for doing this. Or they are just lazy like me :). It usually devolves to TDM because nobody can buy any guns so they kill people who are armed for the equipment.
