Yes, it is intentional, the developers said they will patch and release it at a unspecified date. But they should be updating it. They just prioritized the main mod over the extra's.

Yes, you can still play vanilla. When you open it up, there are two menus one for DLC and on for mods. As such this mod will go in the mod section and can be turned off and one when you choose. So you can still play the vanilla game.
And you should download 1.6, it is set to work with the lastest patch of CK2, which is 2.8.1

Have fun.

I may, but I won't promise anything cause I may forget, have a look myself tomorrow after work. And see if it works and let you know. If you do try it and it does/does not work could you let me know. It would be nice to know if helped or hindered so I can adjust my thinking accordingly.

Look, first of all I'm going say it plain, I not really an experienced modder, only edited a bit here and there on this game. And to be honest I have never done anything to edit portraits before.

But I did a little reading before and have had look, though I never did anything. But I think the basic principle is that you go into the culture folder of the Elder Kings mod and open up the one you want to edit.
Now in every culture there is a line that read like this:

northman = {
graphical_cultures = { northmangfx } # portraits

- Please not that this is from the AGoT Mod, cause I have not downloaded elder kings in a while -
Now, were it says { northmangfx }, I think that's the pack/portrait image thing that it is programmed to select, now as far as im aware you just need to change that bit to the portrait pack name that you want to use.
So, in your case it will be the Baltic pack, so you might want to look into its what it is called, but I would just guess something like { balticgfx }

Now like I said, i am not 100% and I have never tried it myself, to I can't reassure that I am right. So if you would rather wait to see if someone with better experience or what have you let's you know, I won't be offended. And if your not positive, then just don't mess around cause I don't want to mess up your games.

Probably because the current version of the mod is no longer compatible because of the patch that came with the Jade Dragon DLC. Either wait until they release the next update or roll back your version of CK2 to the last compatible version.(If you do not know how to roll it back I wrote how in reply further down the talk screen, so check that)

That would be Version CK2 2.7.1

If you have already done this and still having the problem, then sorry for the previous useless reply. But I don't know what is causing your problem.

Go into Steam Library, Right-Click on Crusader Kings 2. The you select Properties and go into the Beta's tab. Then select the drop down menu and from that select the currently compatible patch/version.

In this case it is Version CK2 2.7.1

Only within Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, I believe. If you listen to conversations it was part of Elsweyr but was recently taken and made part of Cyrodil just prior to the game. That's why there is a large population of Khajiit and tensions between Elsweyr and Cyrodillic/Imperial 'Governments', so to speak.

So I don't think it should really be considered a part of Cyrodil. However, they could place an event or something to allow it to trigger should a Septim take the throne. Or if the Player so desires to take it.

First things first, I am going to apologise for taking so long to get back to you. Now I know this will seem strange, but I posted a guide as a blog on my profile page (it was a bit too long to be put into a comment), so if you go to my profile page and look under blogs I have posted a sort of guide to do this. I hope the three of you see this and find the guide, and I hope it is easy to use. IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE MESSAGE ME AND ILL TRY MY BEST TO GET BACK TO YOU AND HELP

Using steam you go into your library, right click Crusader Kings 2 and then click on Properties. Once that opens up, from the tabs at the top select Beta, once in that tab use the drop down menu present and simply select 2.1.6 Old Version and allow it to load and then you should be able to play the game/mod.

Yes, but normally the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard (which is a Duchy Title in the game) hold the Barony of the White Sword Tower, and thus are playable.

As to why they are not in Metejoff's particular game, I am not sure. Do they hold the White Sword Tower in your game?

If you want to see the extensions, like .exe and .txt, then you will need to go to your control panel, and make it so you see all the control panel items. This can be done by going to the top of the screen, near the navigation bar type thing and selecting the arrow and the choice: All control panel items. The find folder options, and open it, then select the bar at the top named: View. Finally go to advanced options and find the option that says Hide Extensions in files, or something like, and then un-tick it. It it has no tick or you already know this, then I'm unsure of your problem, and I apologise for the over-long post (And it's quite patronising nature, again sorry for that).

Are your extensions actually showing?, have you set them to show in file/folder options?.

You have probably not set it to show the extensions, such as the .exe, or the .txt extensions. And your mistaking the .2 of the 0.7.2, which indicated what version it is. The file should work as normal, you just can't see the .exe extension.

No, he was referring to the fact that he was originally a petty king of the Colovian Estates when General Talos/Tiber served him. He only later declared himself emperor upon taking the city.

Did you try editing the game files like I said?

lemonizerchimp - - 38 comments @ Elder Kings

It is. I said write it EXACTLY as I did. As in without the ' in Thu'um. In the files it is written as thuum. So do it like that.

Why not, instead of using cheats to redo the whole pilgrim thing. Just use cheats to add Thuum. You know. Just type in: add_trait thuum

Exactly like that. Just a thought.

Well, you could try using cheats. Open up the 'Cheat Menu' and then just type in: religion [char id] [religion of choice]

For example, religion 310180 nerevarine, and that would make the character a follower of the Almsivi Heresy of the Nerevarine.

To open up the cheat menu, there should be a button on your keyboard next to your number one (and not the number two) it will have these characters: `¬, on it. Press that and it should appear on your screen.To find your Char ID number, type in the 'Cheat': charinfo. And you should get a whole heap of info when you hover your mouse over your character.

The only other way I know, would be to edit your ccurrent religion in the mod files. Just look for your mod folder in the Pardox Interactive folder, access commons, then find religion and open up the text file. The simply find your religion and add in: max_wives = [a number of your choice]

On a side note, were I put the brackets [], DO NOT ADD THEM, just type in the thing that needs to be typed. And when using cheats, do not use capitals, I hope this helps.

Your could either try editing the Religion section to make the religion you chose accept brother sister marriages, use the cheat marry_anyone, or just play as the Valyrian religion.
To edit the religion you just need to access the common folder, then religion, and find the one you want within the text file and add under it bs_marriage = yes (have a look at the valyrian religion to see). I know its been a while since you posted, but i hope this helps.

I know you posted a few days ago. And I'm unsure if you still want a list, but you could just look in traits under the common folder. I assume that's what your looking for. Hope it helps.

I am not so sure how to get one, other than cheating. But to hatch it, there should be an event, and you need to get as much dragon lore as possible to increase chances. And there are events to hand it down to your children, if you wished.

Yes, if you go into the landed_titles section of the common folder and find K_knightswatch, and were it says allow { always = no) change it to yes. And you should be able to create it.
