Looks great
Thanks bud! Gonna upload a new version of the mod soon with your translation included.
Holy **** yes.
This is great, looking forward to making my own levels for this mod.
ah yess been waiting a while for this
this is broken, at some point in the offices you have to pull the lever in order to open a door but the creator must've forgot to disable the blockbox after that happens because I can't get through
maybe make sure the mod can be y'know finished from start to end when releasing it
jakub co ty pierdolisz że tu bedroom jak tu łóżka nie ma
Hey Melik I'm Mandus very cool!

simply amazing
Hey Smashbro can I ask you a genuine question
you know? i don't care about you
I'm sorry to keep you waiting, but allow me to address what's really going on with this. No matter how many buiilds of this mod I've had, no matter what changes I've tried to pursue, I still wasn't satisified with where this is going.
I felt that the themes I wanted to present were cliche and overused in the modding community of this game, thus I lost most of my motivation thinking this will never feel good enough to me despite any changes I push through. We're almost halfway through April and I haven't updated the page in a while, for which I apologize, but I couldn't bear myself to write an explanation because I couldn't come with any reasonable one.
Sure, I could throw a bunch of buzzwords saying "oh yeah it's coming right up pal" but no, I'm not going to pull this trick on you guys. I want you to know The Frayed Ends will most likely be my farewell project, and I can't afford for it to be a failure.
Currently I'm reviewing whatever I had from the old version of this mod to see if I can keep anything, but besides that, I will probably restart the entire project after I'm done with the plot and everything else that needs to be done before I get back to this.
Tl;dr - it will happen, but it needs a serious review on my end. When I have anything worth showing, I will keep everybody updated.
Thanks for your patience.
congrats on the release fam, will try to play this and review it sometime this week
I don't remember, but not that many. It has a lot of different types of colors going on so it looks more complicated than it actually is xD
I've responded to your pm, thanks
You're covering an entire portion of map with blue haze while you could do so much more with those empty streets. Additionally, the color of the boxlight you're using doesn't match the fog, which renders it even more unrealistic. The fog should have the color of your lighting. That's how light going through fog works like, I mean duuuh.
Part of the reason why the fog in Silent Hill was great is that they used it to deepen the atmosphere factor. You'd see outlines of uncertain objects in the distance, vague figures, etc. This is what you should do if you're going for the foggy town look. Have more menacing environments. With that the fog's presence has an actual justification, rather than it being there because it's easier to cover the emptiness of your level with it, isn't it?
So-so
Doubt it, I'm not particularly articulate at Spanish. Unless someone translates it
Thanks, gonna update the screenshot with your tips!
As far as I'm concerned Rem allows people to use his assets as long as they credit him, he's responded to my PM regarding that.
**** YEAH SCIENTISTS BE VERY SCARED
You're still working on it after all these years, good luck :P
It's the same universe as Five Magics, but it's much less focused on occult/fantasy themes, it's headed more towards Lovecraftian horror and morality issues. As much as I'd love a new monster, I think I'll stick to some community made creatures.
Gives some neat depressive vibes, suits the theme of this mod perfectly. XD
