There is a demo in the works. Right now I'm working on updating the game and fixing some of the issues that people have with the first version. After I get that settled, I'll work on getting a short demo of the game up on the internet in various places.

There's a playable "sample" of the game at Offspringfling.com if you want to check that out for now. It just shows you some of the basic ideas of the game in a big level.

Awesome! It is possible to play with a controller right now, it just requires you to run the Joy2Key software along with the game.

Not yet. The best I can offer right now is Joy2Key for windows and Enjoy for Mac. Hoping to have native controller support in a future update :)

The sprites and backgrounds were initially drawn in Photoshop using the pencil tool for pixel precision, and then later animated in Graphics Gale.

I did restrict my palette to a small number of colors when I first designed the game, it helped a lot in creating the initial look! :)
