I can't think of any reason why the shortcut isn't working for you. The only thing that could cause an issue is the quotation marks. You have to hold the shift key and press the quotation marks key.

For me the target field is like this:

"D:\Games\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\lotrbfme2ep1.exe" -mod "D:\Games\Arnor Gondor Rohan 2.02 v9"

Go to "lotrbfme2ep1.exe". Send to: Desktop (create shortcut).
Then modify the target field. Add space, then -mod and space. Followed by quotation marks. Then the link to the mod folder, and end it with quotation marks. and it should work fine.

If you're doing all of this and it isn't working then I don't really know what's causing this or how to fix it.

The only way to setup the mod is using the -mod command method. If I understand correctly, you're trying to setup the target field without success.

Ok, so try one more thing before you reinstall everything. Open the patch launncher and check which version is active. Select 2.02 v9.0.0 and activate it. Then run the mod shortcut.

Sorry, no can do. I did it once before and those a**holes on YouTube gave me a warning and claimed my video was showing people how to crack the game and therefore a violation. When it was a simple how to instal video.

Bfme 2 tutorial?

I agree in principle, but I believe it will be a distraction. Meaning we will see the tower guards less often on the battlefield and in a quick match not at all.

I prefer to have it like it was in bfme 1 and 2. Gondor will be fielding it's elite pikemen against cavalry and monsters.

No more. I guess that means more jobs for the Easterlings.

MotW will become Gondor without Rohan units. Rohan will become a separate faction.

Replaced with Arthedain Nobles mini hero horde.

I might restore them in the next version. In the summon elven allies spell or the inn or both.

This mod is a bit old now. Try the new one Arnor & Gondor & Rohan.
As you can probably tell from the name it has Rohan as well.

That was a deliberate choice on my part. I had decided to keep that tree design as I like it more. So, switching back and forth will only change the skin/armor and portraits.

You should reinstall Rotwk. When you have 2.02 installed and you want to run a mod that uses 2.01 like RJ-Rotwk, just move 2.02.big files somewhere else and put them back when you need them.

Balancing. A quick fix for Theodred's respawn time. Moved his and Eomer's leadership to level 2. Edited spearmen lines so they don't say "Swords!" any more.

There might be conflict somewhere.
Is your rotwk freshly installed?
