It'd be cool if this was dynamic - food prices and availability (and the availlability of mutants to hunt) changed over some cyclic periods.
Different foods become scarce, and if the changes to items were mapped to specific cycles it might be relative abundance or starvation.

No worries, because everyone has cable internet and never get dropouts..

If the file was broken into 2mb chunks the chances would be much better that each would complete.

A few pistol shots opened the locked doors, but there are no prompts to shut off the switches. Is this the gameplay now?

I got X10 but can't disable security or open the stash room - there are no prompts.
I've killed every mutant.

Ive been trying to get into iron forest for about 4 hours. 2 instakill controllers, 4 super strong bloodsuckers, a hoard of zombies, and then the effects are so OT you cant see the poltergeist to kill it.
I think I've had enough now, 2.1 was better.

This is bundled with the Roadside Picnic mod that adds the atmosphere back that is missing in the otherwise fantastic CoC mod. Unfortunately the DrX questlines are really dull, get me some, kill this, I was robbed, my mate was kidnapped. There are no conversations and no sense of engagement with the npc.
"Is there a work you want done?
"Sorry don't have anything.
Then what am I doing here?
The vanilla story lines may have been linear and plot free, but they required some thought and detective work, not simply fetch this, kill that. It would be more engaging if this was a layer on the vanilla, and some effort was made to vary the dialogue.

Can someone please make a mod for NS that switches off exos (especially invisible suits), makes bandits a disorganised gang instead of a faction, and reduces the population so its more like Roadside Picnic and Tarkovsky than COD.

I have now tried this save, one from a previous install and a playthrough, and each time I am told to see the doctor (who has disappeared). Is this broken for anyone else? Is there a workaround?

CTD and xr game process doesn't exit when shut down.
Tried to get this to run for about 3 hrs, AMD system, clean install, run as admin.
Deleting now.

Just noticed Kanyhalos of OL fame has a Crysis Maximum Immersion mod. Might have some insights.
Have you seen CryZone? The dev died, but the teaser looks great - v atmospheric.

The controller effect radius is too great. there's a postprocess file a few pages back to stop the extreme sway, but you will still die before you spot the controller.

There are a few lights / glowing spots on the ground, especially around bases. Maybe the devs put them there as place markers for guards, but they are unnecessary in such an otherwise polished release.
