Well, it will be a basic combat style. Most melee weapons have a primary and secondary attack. Currently only a sword and a battleaxe is in the game, but more will follow (e.g. bow and arrow, maces and ofc more different swords and battleaxes).
Apart from that, there will also be guns in the game, but only if your world isn't restricted to "medieval-time-only" ;)

Siege engines are also coming, among others: Canons, ballistae, perhaps battering rams etc. That type of combat is partly affected by physics (e.g. debris, projectiles).

But keep in mind, this is not really a war game ;) Warefare is an important aspect, but the main focus will be on building/exploration.

The game will have both medieval and modern time elements :) But you'll be able to "limit" the age when creating a world (for example if you prefer a medieval-only world).

This one was built with the extended construction system, out of single wooden planks ;)
We're thinking about adding a ready-made scaffolding (or at least single parts of it), which can be combined on a modular basis.

There is no specific GUI, you simply place the elements in the world. Perhaps we add some information labels like current rotation etc ;)
You're able to change the size while placing, but every element has a min and a max size.

Thanks. We are still working on the lighting system, but you have to keep in mind, that this type of game is more restricted concerning lights & shadows than for example a game like Battlefield. If we focus on a very high quality for every lightsource, and a user places 1000 torches and lamps in a small area (e.g. in a town), the performance would terribly drop for every player (in multiplayer) =/

That's one of the most important upcoming features indeed. I hope they will be ready within the next 5-6 weeks.
First of all, we're going to implement an extended construction system (which is scheduled for the next update), and after that, we start working on animals and monsters ;)

Currently there are slopes and ramps available in the game (which can also be placed upside-down) ;)

Natürlich ist es jederzeit hilfreich, wenn uns Bugs etc. gemeldet werden, ebenso sind für für jede Form von Verbesserungsvorschlägen offen.

Thanks! Yes, the terrain is fully modifiable. Everything you see in the world can be destroyed, and you can dig holes into the terrain in all directions ;)

Yes, the game is moddable, and we explicitly support modding ;)

We're planning to introduce a clothing system where you can individually wear different pieces of clothes, i.e. you decide which T-Shirt you wear or which shoes. In addition, you can color your clothes. This all happens ingame, only your skin color and your haircut is dependent of your playerprofile. But this feature is only planned for the future.

Yes, there will be a lot of animals and monsters. They are expected to be ready within the next months.

Muskets or guns in general are definitely planned, but unforunately we can't tell any ETA yet.

What do you mean exactly with "all people ever fund"? This game is not funded through kickstarter or anything else if you mean that ;)
The name "Concept" was more meant to highlight the building and construction part of the game, but it's misleading, and people take the name too literally, so we're going to change it ;)

Hehe, no, it's a simple man-made house ;) Procedurally generated structures are planned for the future: Dungeons, Castles and much more.
We're currently also working on more blocktypes, and on an extended construction system (which allows you to place planks etc. with high precision). That'll give you many alternatives for the roof.

Tessellation is currently not planned (maybe in the future), but we'll implement normal mapping and parallax mapping, to give it a more realistic look :)

Maybe in the future :) Currently our game is not available on Steam or Desura, but it can be purchased on our homepage.
At least you don't have to worry about updates, since they will be downloaded and applied automatically by the game launcher ;)
