not to sound confusing, i already killed the target hours ago and i was just speculating that might cause bugs with the AI since i got a new buddy and did other missions and the bug just resets.

thanks for the reply, but i found that answer on an older post, killed my old buddy did a mission to get a new one and then slept for 3 days, came back and the town is automatically tellimg me to leave the cease fire zone... if i had to guess it might be an assassination mission where you kill someone in there permanantly messing with the AI, because when i leave and come back the bug repeats itself

i have the exact same bug, stuck at 58% and have done everything to try and get this guy to open the door, how do you kickstart your save?

This mod seems to have bugged my needle in a haystack quest as for some reason it disappeared and is no longer on my quest list

For some reason my gauss rifle is default with BAS installed, could another mod overwrite it? otherwise i have no other issues or crashes

Is there a way to remove the effects of this patcher, it made everything way too dark so i put back my backup gamedata and user file and now my screen is completely white in game, thanks

I get you man, just keep the in-game values as normal and it should be fine

The game is very much playable with the old ai, but it's far from perfect. I would of course want the improved ai but as I stand it runs like **** on my PC, even tho I have a 1060 and i7

Thanks, I dont play with update two since it stutters, but i used your file for the new mod file

new stashes will need to be spawned in, but a new game will make all rare stashes great

if stalkers have nothing to trade, then they can't, its part of the game. And the main faction traders will buy anything

The AI changes cause stuttering on any dx and on lowest settings, same as hotfix 3 and with the original .exe 's i get no stutters at all, ive tried to talk about this multiple times on the discord to no avail, and im far from the only person who also experiences, otherwise anything else in hotfix that changed the .exe 's have been causing stutters, the improved AI is my guess as the culprit.

rare stashes are even better, with artefacts and guns in them, plus tons of food and water

its extremely OP, but with some modifications a more balanced one could be made

I didn't say the vanilla values are the best, but it's still possible to beat the entire game with them
