Just a minor convenience that was in 3 but not 4:
- install GOG RTCW
- install RealRTCW in separate folder, not in RTCW
- run RealRTCW, it finds the GOG RTCW (I think by registry key) and reads game files from there
If this was a hassle to support I understand, it's no great loss, I can copy PK3s from RTCW to RealRTCW 4 and run it fine.
I like to install RealRTCW separately from vanilla.
I could do this with 3.x which was able to detect the GOG version of RTCW.
Not so with 4.0. Is this intended?

This is with a fresh install. Selecting PSXFINALDOOM soundfont in the FluidSynth options didn't fix it.
The eduke/rednukem instructions forgot to say, you need to add the DukeNukemHDSounds folder to the search path when launching.
Start eduke/rednukem with the command line option:
-j DukeNukemHDSounds

In assault2 any reason the truck can't have more than 2 dynamite pickups at a time? I saw no way to know they would respawn after use, so you could dynamite the command post and the door controls, then rush to the gun controls and be screwed. Also I thought I heard the guy who first reached the gun controls say he had dynamite for me, but he didn't.
The item icons look like this for me. This is with no other mods and the UI fix.
In the hospital, after you go down and push the blue switch, DO NOT drop down those elevator shafts again. That entire lower floor is now a one-way dead end in which YOU WILL GET STUCK. The door to the switch won't open, there's no way to climb back up the elevator shafts, and noclip will not work even with sv_cheats 1.
