It took me a couple hours on google search and some re installations but I managed to get this game on steam. (Remember to put it as a new file under half life in steam apps.) You run like you're on ice at all times and the monsters are fast, damaging, and their heads bobble around in some freakish deformity to the background music. You take as much pills as you can, only to be strucken done by two fast blood faced monsters with skinless hands. Unless you have any kind of ammo, you're screwed, otherwise you run, even then, if you have no batteries, you're in the dark, literally pitch black. This is even darker than freaking amnesia, and I don't find amnesia even half as scary as this. The story is straight forward and not too complex for me to get my mind scrambled. This game is very likable if you want to play something challenging and really scary.

I've gotten through atleast half of the game two times and ran out of syringes both times. After chapter four I can't find anymore. I managed to get as far as between the park and the apartments where sophie jumped. I was trying to get the second fuse with barely any health but two bible heads popped in the entrance to ronald street. I managed to kill the first one after ten or so deaths but the second one keeps on killing me and I can't find any syringes. I like this game, a lot, but it's frustrating me. And I can't cheat.
