Back in 1970's at the invasion of Belka to the neighboring countries, there was a vital, two-member squadron named Silber (156th TFS, Belkan Air Force). Their role was to secure the Southern Battle Line and they were consisted of two ace pilots. Their callsigns are Boss (F-4E) and Gunn (F-15E).

As the annexation battles took place, the Belkan Air Force had quickly established itself as a formidable force, just by itself. In some cases, a few pilots had become Aces and had made their name known in their own country and across the continent. Including the Silber team members.

Soon, the last opposing nation, Recta, was under attack by Belkan Forces. Rectan Air Force, while smaller but more experienced, was effectively defending itself from the initial attacks and maintained its air superiority. The 156th TFS Silber was deployed there from the Southern Battle Line and soon the tide of war changes. Most notably at the Battle of Mt. Mainz, in which they claimed air superiority and allowed Belkan Ground Forces to take the city of Calle, wiping out the last stronghold of the Rectan Liberation Front.

The last action of the Belkan Annexations ended with the 156th TFS Silber engaging unknown Fighters over Crescence Island. After they are shot down, all actions against the Belkans begin to cease. This took place in 1985.

Just two years later, the Belkan Democratic Party came under heavy opposition, due to the fact that the Belkan economy was declining rapidly and soon the government was forced into a process which would re-evaluate their effectiveness to run the country. The Belkan Federal Law Review was held in 1987. In the end, a new Federal Government was established and new laws were set in place.

After the Belkan Federal Law Review in 1988 and years of a build up of military power, hatred and hostilities; the Belkan Military was again crossed the borders of the Independent countries and Open War was declared. Silber team was also assigned to lead one of the open battle in Ustian territory, and there was almost a rebellion in the squad. Gunn was heavily disagreed with his nation's another invasion to the neighboring countries, but his squad leader managed to calm his down.

Above the shattered skies up there, the Silber team managed to scored more terrifying kills. 7 for Boss and 12 for Gunn. Because of this record, Belkan pilots who also flew with them called Gunn "The Silver Eagle", but he was shot down and killed immediately and nobody was know for sure who was this Silver Eagle really.

The Belkans then claimed a total victory to their first invasion of Ustian territory. HQ was reported an RTB to every planes back then, but suddenly Silver Eagle attacked his squad leader without warning. Boss' plane was damaged and he was a sitting duck. But then Silver Eagle leaved him and went MIA. Nobody knew his reason of attacking his own lead plane but it's believed to because of his disagreement of Belkan invasion to its neighboring countries.

Months had passed and there was no signs of the Silver Eagle until the decisive battle on the area B7R took place...
Silber team - with its four new members - was then assigned to reinforce the dwindling Belkan Air Force against the Allied Forces' attack. While they were en-route to the battlefield, they were intercepted by an unknown aircraft. It was later identified that it was Silber team's former member, Gunn the Silver Eagle.

Meanwhile, Gunn was surprised that his former squad leader were already prepared his students to be deployed to battle. He knew that he won't survive against Boss and his wingmen-students, but he still fiercely fought them to make time for the Allied Forces to maintain the air superiority until his plane was swiss-cheesed by Boss' gunfire. He can easily took Gunn out, actually. But he decided to force his old wingman to disengage. Gunn was later disappeared. The true Silver Eagle will never be return anymore. But his mission has been completed: the Belkan Air Force in the area B7R, had already lost...
