Good to see some who share my point of view, haha. I might join, after all.

Well, sure, of course it's my "problem", which is kind of why I'm asking.. The point of a group is the people in them. That's what makes a "group", right? The topic is just what brings them together. If you dislike the people but like the topic, then there's not much of a point in joining said group. Most places to discuss anime is often full of weeaboos, though. I guess that's a problem with the demographic.
Edit: of course I'm not going to cause a "huge ruckus" over it though, haha.
Should I join if I like avant-garde anime, but hate weeaboos?
If you like Worms Armageddon, then don't hesitate to try this out.
Why was I not tracking this.
"Innovative" alone is not enough. I'd rather have a good, generic shooter than a bad, innovative game. Besides, if your main argument is to compare it with "generic shooters" and basically calling it relatively good, then my expectations aren't exactly high.
Just saying.
This game could be a lot of fun, though. I haven't played it myself, as it doesn't look like my type of game, but I believe that I can pinpoint a few gripes that people probably have regarding the game. Based on the videos and presentations that I've seen, it comes off as kind of amateur-ish. The graphics look way too simple, and not simple in the "hey that's pretty cute"-stylistic kind of way. I remember seeing some earlier videos about this, where it seemed like you just stood there and watched the ball bounce off in the distance, without much interaction besides just aiming and shooting. I'll stress that I could be dead wrong, though, as this is basically guesswork with a fairly tiny basis. Also, using two quotation marks ("??") or two exclamation marks ("!!") just screams "amateur", to me. That has nothing to do with the quality of the game, of course, but this is the presentation that is supposed to get me interested in it, and a few people might feel the same. Hopefully they're not as nitpicky as I am, though.
What the **** is "an internet game"?
This shouldn't be classified as "TBD", should it?
"Hey bodybuilders, this render of a class from a game about dinosaurs looks kinda gay."
"Oh OK."
If there's anything wrong with this game then it's the fact that the camera is so close up. It really strains your eyes after a while.
