This looks like a ton of fun. Nostalgic (Combat meets Battle City), but with modern visuals. Cool!

This looks pretty interesting. As an ancient gamer (since 1972), I most defintely approve. True role-playing isn't all about combat and loot (see The Guild series or some classic adventure games that have RP elements)...

Hey, I thought this was pretty scary, but OK, I'll bite when the new version is available... don't listen to the haters... they must have had lousy childhoods is all ... ;^P

Could you post system specs, please? This looks really cool and I want to make sure I can run it on both computers here (as well as recommend it to readers in a review on my site once the game goes live).

My sole issue with Desura is game pages SHOULD have specs by default on the right sidebar or somewhere in the summary. That way, users can grab games without wondering if they'll run...

This is coming along really nicely! One thing, though - if you choose to play as a female character, she's still addressed as a male by everyone in the game. Granted, M&B did this too when I first played it a few years back, but it would be cool to see that addressed in the future...

Excellent. I'm not big on online gaming, but the bits I've tried of EoS have been a blast on a few fronts. Looking forward to this and hopefully on other platforms as well!

Nice. I remember this from an EA Games press event as a mobile indie game, so it's great to see it here on Desura. As I said back then, a few changes to the engine and a fantasy or sci-fi plot would make an awesome RPG follow-up! TO anyone looking at this and wondering if it's good or fun, YES and YES are the answers! BUY IT.

I actually liked the methodical pace to the game (the opening moments are brilliant) and slowness of the Lumberjack as well as the automatic inventory, as they keep your brain bubbling when things get tense. A run feature is fine, but this shouldn't be a Hollywood horror jump-out chase and chop like some people want (or expect).

Please DON'T go and add some hand-holding "easy" mode, a mapping system with "YOU ARE HERE" arrows, a tutorial or anything that makes the game YOU want to to jut like every other horror game out there. This one's special because it makes you think a wee bit more and the backstory is pretty damn well thought out.

Can't wait to play the next chapter.

OK, I do have a blog or two, but I may add links here to some older posts there about indie games not on Desura so you cats (meow!) can check a few out. We shall see - it depends on my schedule, which is insane as of late...

Annnnd... hey! I see that v0.18 is available on the official site. Hmmm. Well, new impressions will need to be made, i guess. Do saves carry over or do I need to restart? Guess I'll find out now, huh? Not too worried about it, although my character DOES have a nice early set of magical gear....

Impressions so far: Awesome. Even thogh this isn't completed yet, it's extremely well done. Love the visuals (simple, but excellent rendered) and the fact that you don't gain levels without a bit of work. I also love that enemies will chase after you (fun with spiders and skeletons? Sure, why not). It WOULD be nice to have a bank so gold isn't chopped in half when you die, though. The again, I guess not losing a piece of random good gear like in other games is a good thing...

Downloading this now. It reminds me of ShadowFlare and a few other iso action RPGs visually, so I'm looking forward to diving in and seeing what's what...
