It was a bit of a struggle to decide how to present this: Either I give the most accurate and concise information like I have done or I give a more vague descriptions to make it read better, Like "medium head medicine" or something like that... I think this will just make it just as confusing as having no descriptions. So here we are, see what you guys think.

I am in the medical profession, I was thinking about actually adding to the description paragraph... but for the life of me, I couldn't figure how "sleeping pills" help with bullet trauma to the head, so I think it was better to leave it abstract.

Things like cocaine I can imagine can be an analgesic, so the first-aid items make some sense, but most of the post-heal items only makes remote sense or no sense at all, like how does Anti-rad medicine heal wounds? In a way, I think the mod's intentions are good, making use of all the existing meds for a more useful purpose, since its rare you need most of the meds in-game. But its a little gamey to make the existing in-game meds heal your extremities.

Having said that, from a gameplay perspective it makes for more depth, without creating a whole bunch of new drugs to bloat the game. So I can suspend my disbelieve for the sake of gameplay in this instance.

QUESTION to anyone more skilled at modding Stalker:

Is there a way to change the text color of individual words in a line. Obviously there is a code for changing the color of the line to red/blue (used in-game to tell the user if its a negative or positive effect). But I wanted to change each word's color instead. Like for head healing: Dark green may mean a little healing but bright green means lots of healing. It would make the description neater and still be informative.

Just for the record, I also had this problem today, I am not sure which mod was making this reference, but I fixed it by copying another silence.ogg file for another random gun to the \gamedata\sounds\ directory and renamed the file to wpn_9_1_snd_silenced.ogg

Lo and behold the game loaded up fine.

A suggestion to anyone that happens by:

I did one change to the game to help with my experience with the base anomaly game that made these type of mods less necessary (at my skill level).... I changed the carry weight to 100 in the game (so I don't have to do inventory management and was able to hoard stuff more), this in turn meant I had more money/crafting items... result is the same as a mod like this, except that all the items was more hard earned.... at the cost of suspension of disbelief at my character's carry weight. You can adjust it down to 50 if you like it more realistic.

I found also by doing this, I was able to actually learn the mechanics of the crafting system easier and quicker... Once I know the game more I can tune down the carry weight in the future.

Hopes this helps someone.
