Thanks guys :D we'll be working on a feature-length trailer this weekend! That trailer doesn't even touch on 5% of the functionality in the game!

Interesting! I may well be wrong but it looks like they are playing around with hundreds of joints to hold their blocks together (in that video) which may provide a stronger case for the Bullet Physics engine (as unity joints are a bit temperamental). This isn't an immediate concern for me (as joints aren't an option for thousands of components) but I'll definitely bear it in mind for when I have a bit of extra time to look into optimization!

Just putting plans into motion to implement huge missile batteries with a mixture of Infrared Seekers (already implemented) but also laser beam riders and laser designation. So hopefully this should satisfy your missile related desires for 'swarms' of small missiles :)

Hi Expack,

Thanks very much- that is very encouraging! It is the Unity 3D engine. I'll point you to the 'customisable missiles' video on youtube with regards to the MIRV (see the link below). I'm also considering having 'homing warheads' for shells fired from the cannon. I like to make things as customisable as possible so I tend to avoid making a 'MIRV' if I can find some way of allowing the players to produce something like a 'MIRV' out of customisable parts :)

Currently (and this will remain this way for some time) the water is not affected by the vehicles. The vehicles are most certainly affected by the water however!

Hello!
Playable version in 6 to 8 weeks (single player) and we're definitely going to make the single player / co-op games really challenging. Customizable characters are on the way, in fact we're working on it as we speak!

Hi SuperSpoose, you'll be able to get your hands on a single player alpha in approximately 6 to 8 weeks - once we've recieved a bit of feed back and fixed any issues we expect to release the multiplayer alpha about 8 weeks after that. Plenty of time for you to create a fleet of epic war machines and get to grips with all the game mechanics!

Yes absolutely! Some game types you and your team will build things in real time, and others you'll be able to spend resource on previously designed vehicles and take them in with you. Glad you like the look of it- Like us on facebook for more frequent updates : Facebook.com.
