Rebellion, you stupid bastard.

Rebellion, you stupid bastard.
There is no way this could be modified for space. Jet engines and a giant propeller underneath? Nope, sorry.
I would just say get rid of the hangar looking thing in the middle.
It looks good, but with a few adjustments it could make a badass carrier.
It has a good design, with one exception. What is the top part supposed to be? A cockpit? Command bridge? I can't really tell. The way it's designed looks like a cockpit, and that makes the battleship look much smaller, like a fighter.
Wow, what an immature developer. I have never seen a developer talk to the community like that before. "Shut up until it's finished." huh? Oh well, I expect it to die before completion, go ahead and try to prove me wrong.
Now this I like! Looks like powerful broadside batteries. Only thing I can think of is that it may be a tad bit too wide.
Please allow me to offer some constructive criticism on this ship. On the surface, it is a great design. Looks powerful. But, like Hotshot said, it really could use some more turrets, for two reasons.
One, you cannot give a weapon a 360 degree angle of fire. At least, not in Sins. Even if you were somehow able to, the turrets would still shoot through the ships mesh, which would give it a feeling of low quality and lack of effort in design.
Two, I really would recommend adding turret batteries on the sides of the main superstructure. If you do not add these turrets there will be a very large angle of the ship that its weapons will not cover. Alternatively, you could also add tons of missile batteries. That would be very, very cool. Imagine this ship jumping into a battle, unleashing hundreds of missiles on its enemy, then bringing the forward guns to bear (or, if you add side turrets and missiles, imagine it coming in for a massive broadside).
Down vote my comments guys, fine, it doesn't matter and it negates from the fact that I am right.
You, Hotshot, clearly lack a rudimentary knowledge of Sins modding. Turrets cannot turn, the only ways to make it happen would cause the turrets to either be invisible until they fire, or create visual duplicates of the turret when they do fire. Either way, it doesn't change the firing arc, so there will still be No "broadsiding" by these ships. What will happen however is ships being left invulnerable if they attack from either side.
SergeantQuin: It has nothing to do with realism. It has to do with Sins limits. The balance of these ships will cause them to be absolutely worthless. I do not expect it to be "100% realistic". I do, however, expect it to have good balance, ship designs that at least make sense in the Iron Engine, and a developer that will not only take constructive criticism, doesn't type like a 12-year-old, and recognizes these rather well-known hard-coded limits.
I also can't help but notice that you didn't answer my question. What Sins mod being developed uses moving turrets in this fashion? Hmm? No, you didn't answer it, instead you down voted my comment.
Nice try blainelrs, might want to learn some grammar yourself.
Worlds is an alternate Earth history Sci-Fi universe with 5 major empires so far. The empires are:
Allies
The United Systems, The descendants of Earth, this empire is also shared with a race called the Sarithians.
The Republic of Entares, A large Humanoid race, created from Human DNA hundreds of years ago.
The Kingdom of Altopia ,Basically space elves, this race is an offshoot of the Delvinyeh.
Axis
The Delvinyeh Empire, Similar to the Altopians but without the pointed
ears. They're perfectionists and see every other race as an
imperfection.
The Phosforites, a crystal like race with on one desire, to consume.
Because neither myself nor my friend are good with art, very little visual work has been done. However, many of the ideas have been written down.
Right now we need:
Someone who knows how to hard point
And a texture artist
If you are interested in helping PM myself or Skype me at sargequin
Once again, YOU need common sense. Turrets in Sins CAN'T TURN.
1. Well consider this, in sins the turrets CANNOT TURN/BE ANIMATED. This ship as well as any designed like it will only be able to shoot directly forward and backward through their own hulls! Also, I can see that you were HEAVILY influenced by the Fletcher Destroyer.
2. That's a matter of opinion, so...
Good concept, could use some common sense and work though.
1. The right facing turret on the right top side of the ship would fire directly into the hull in front of it. As would the right facing gun on the left top side. The 4th small gun from the left facing left on the bottom of the ship would also fire into the hull.
There are two big things about this concept that don't make any sense.
1. The right-facing turret on the left top side of the ship would just fire directly into thee bridge.
2. Why is there rigging for masts? Neither of them would have any use as there is no gravity.
The ships were obviously heavily inspired by (and one just straight copied from) Halo. We already have 2 Halo mods in the works, no need for a cheap knockoff version.
It looks like you went heavy with the polys again...other then that, nice model.
Wait...the description implies that corvettes have heavy armor, when in fact corvettes should be only slightly larger then fighters...

Not really sure what you are meaning by that. But I one-upped your comment, I laughed.

SwissKnight: Wow, here I am being completely polite and legit, yet you can only reply like an 12 year old butthurt child. Very mature.
hydrocarbon: I might have confused how much Photoshop costs. I thought it was like $200, oops.
Haha, I do agree that someone will try to copy this. However, I think you may have gone a bit far in insulting a large portion of the sins modding community for not being as fortunate as yourself (in response to the Photoshop comment) I am usually a huge fan of you and Swiss Knights sarcasm, but I just feel that this was uncalled for. I use GIMP, and it can be every bit as effective as Photoshop with the right tools, plugins, and an experienced user.
Bitches downvoted my comment, even though I was being totally not an ***.
Anyways, assuming that the flak frigate is bigger then a 747, the wings on the back would do literally nothing in-atmosphere. Assuming it is the same size as 747, those wings would still do literally nothing in-atmosphere. In general they are positioned wrong, and they are far too small to keep something that size in the air.
You might want to reconsider adding fins to it, it's a cool design, but there really is zero need for fins in space and would just be impractical.
Wow, nice work man. The difference in detail from the other models is astounding, you have clearly been practicing.
Anyhow, you may want to make sure that you aren't going crazy with polygons. This model in particular looks like you went a little heavy on them in the engines and the nose.
You my friend are an idiot. I'm sure they didn't get mad about it the first time, but it has to get aggravating now that people have asked no fewer then 37,000 times...
Something seems kind of funky with the lighting, are you guys using hard or soft edges?
