Desura presently tries to launch the full version's diadra_en.exe to run the demo, which isn't present in the demo install. In the meantime, manually running diadra_en_d.exe from the demo's folder should get you going.

Thanks for asking! The issue was with the Desura app, though I put the standalone install's files in its place and kept my previous save file, and that seems to be working so far. :)

For the demo I had to manually go to the game's folder and run the diadra_en_d.exe. Unfortunately when I upgraded to the full version I had to uninstall and reinstall before it would work. Now after playing twice I'm unable to start the game in English (French and German are working OK, neither of which I'm very good with).

Hi there! I'm a support guy in reality as well as in-game. I'll try to look after you and keep you going. In-game as well! I don't often have a lot of words, but I'm almost always there. I currently work as a server manager at a big umbrella corporation where communication is so bad, we could be making zombies and I wouldn't know it. I also have some writing and music endeavors that I'd love to see pan out into something great.
