Well If you need a playtester in the coming months im more than willing to lend a hand Im one of Lord Sets testers and we normally sniff out any problems quickly so I usually have some spare time on my hands to do other things.
Time management isnt an issue for me if your worried about it.
we do plan on streaming again we just need to figure out a date and time its suitable for everyone.
Thank you for your encouraging words. But it takes a bit due to the fact were short on testers. We are looking for more testers to fill our ranks so for those who think they can help with the mod be sure to get in contact with Set or me on modb or steam.
As for the stations we do intend to fix them soon.
AI are always kinda brain dead on lower difficulties.

that's because we haven't put hangar hard points onto the Council star base yet. so we had to remove or disable the production of fighters on the star base so they don't fly off into the distance. its something we plan to change in the near future.
The quit issue is easily worked around. if you click on the button that takes you to the menu it should let you click quit. We we caught the issue too late to hammer that out since we were already working on others at the moment but it will be resolved in a patch more than likely

We have a couple of other things we need to fix before we consider working on the reapers. I was going to save this discussion for the live stream but I feel it prudent to just say it now.
1) We still have yet to re-implement Kinetic Barriers which will be more than likely worked on after this release.
2) The reapers were supposed to be overly OP in hindsight so were trying to finish Council and Cerberus first.
3) Lastly as the Mod matures. Were trying to give you an immersive experience as we can. One that is balanced and fun to play by yourself or with others.

Are you running multiple tabs in your browser because sometimes that causes issues. or have you tried resetting your modem and router?
Once you research paragon or renegade you can only build the trait specific titian you researched
Honestly. The only things that have been really changed is the stats and scaled the costs to match the re-balancing between Cerberus and Council.The AI's remain the same its only how they react to the changes thats going to matter. Then its up to you to come up with a counter to whats being thrown at you.
Not yet but it is in our list of things to fix for the next update. Many other things have been done but I dont know how much detail I can go into as yet. All questions will be answered During the Q&A Livestream so be sure to tune in.

Note: The Council renegade and paragon will be merged together and once you research either choice it locks out the other choice for good till you decide to start a new game.
When your playing as the council faction you must pick a paragon/renegade choice. Once you pick a choice you gain specific traits for said choice as well as access to certain ships.
If this doesnt help your confusion then I will see what else i can elaborate on.
Honestly If you sit down and mess with it for awhile or go look for how to's then your fine... I dont really see the point in pestering the modders if its something you can do by just looking around. the resources are out there just look.
^^^ Ok ignore my two messages I figured it out.
Extract the mod and take-Knights of the Old Empire and place it in your mods folder which is located in the KOTOE V1 folder which you extractd.
After you move it to the mods folder go to your game and go to launch options and put: MODPATH=Mods\Knights_of_the_Old_Empire1
After you have done so it should run fine.
Btw fantastic mod. Though hopefully it progresses more to use its own voice overs and the game gets smoothed out more.
I hope my walk through helps others out
Or has anyone figured out the right modpath to launch it from the launch options for steam configuration?

Will later updates have steam compatible instillation? Ive downloaded mod launchers in the past before and they never work for me.
