I think maybe you should make them game accurate to what they look like hence, Mettaton's leg attack matching his leg in his battle sprite. In the meanwhile, I have made my own coloured sprite and attack mod that is still in development. The page is on GameJolt. Btw I sent you a friend request :)

Hey Michael. I was just wondering if the mod will ever get coloured attacks? I love the coloured battle sprites but I feel that coloured attacks would make the mod complete and I would like it very much. No pressure though.
