Hmm, so the game crashes if I try to load a save after shutting it down. Which means it's pretty much unplayable.

Anyone know a way to fix this?

OK, figured something out. Every time I load it up, I have to start a new game first, then I can load a save.

The trailer video shows monsters, so maybe it'll be like Amnesia, where you run and hide?

I agree, it's too bad they never got to finish their Hunger Mod for HL2.

Just beat it on Normal, enjoyed it, only had one complaint.

The knife weapon, was pointless and totally useless. It seemed to do the same damage as the pipe, but it was slower, so the was never any reason to use it.

Gonna start my run on Hardcore later, only found 4 of the dolls on Normal, are they spread out between the two difficulties? Are can all 10 be found on only one?

Enjoying it so far, just got the Pistol, and fought the first couple enemies.

If not for the MODDB newsletter, I wouldn't have known this was out, I was already a week late, haha.

Like Cry of Fear before it, this was one of the mods I was really looking forward to.

Gonna be a good month for mods, since Black Mesa is finally supposed to come out on the 14th! Well, half of it anyway I guess.

Overall I enjoyed this mod.

The only gripe I had was that the spelling and grammar weren't perfect.
It's weird to think that someone who could make such great looking maps, didn't use a basic spell checker.

I don't know why you thought it'd be fun to have to kill 50 zombies, when you have no ammo to do so. Killing 20, then having to crowbar the remaining 30 is not fun.

I won't give a negative score though, since I didn't finish it.

Just beat the prologue, one of the best HL2 mods I've played, and it's not even complete yet.

Ah OK, I thought it might be from the house part. I even went in a dream, then I died when I stepped on flare, the game bugged out and killed me.

Wow, that explains why there's no votes. No offense, but this is the worst way I've ever seen to download a mod from MODDB.

Played a few hours so far, it's awesome, the gunplay is so much fun. Is that from SMOD? I've heard about SMOD, but have yet to really play any mods that used it.

Though I'm confused on why this is considered a horror mod, since I've seen nothing horror related so far.

Is it gonna be like the HL mod Paranoia? Starts out action, then zombies or something pop up?

Or was I misinformed, and it's not a horror mod? Either way, really looking forward to the rest of the chapters.

Oh, and a tip. If you play like I do in FPS, and reload all the time, don't do this in Cry of Fear, since I'm pretty sure it'll waste the remaining ammo you have in a clip.

Well it's not like all the people giving it a perfect ten when it just came out are any better.

This is why I don't trust user reviews. Scores are either perfect 10, or the lowest possible.

And no, I'm not bashing the Mod, I'm just about to start it, but when it just came out a few hours ago, which is not enough time for all those people to have beaten it, and they give it a perfect score, that's not a good way to review anything.

I'm sure the mod makers would want real praise, from people who have actually played and completed the mod.

The download should be back in a few hours at most, their Youtube update was about an hour ago, and their upload was at 12% then.

That's why the download isn't here, they have to upload it again, since the leak.
