Just another Space Loving, Jarate chucking engineer here to have a good time. Hit me up in TF2 and I can toss some Jarate with you and play hunt the fat scout with my Huntsman. Or if you know me personally there is a chance I can back you with the almighty power that is TEC killing with Credits.
I love 3D printing and I love space, my goal is to 3D print the UNSC-INFINITY and mount it over my desk (play with it when no body is looking).If anyone can further my Nobel cause of getting a 3D printed INFINITY send me a message, I would love to chat.

You should probably scrap the 3d printable Phoenix since it is more of a place holder. The new Phoenix will probably be out in the next patch.
I have been in contact with the mod creators and they would like to hold onto posting 3D printable models generated with their files until after they have finalized the human vs covenant part of the mod. Can't say I blame them, who wants to show off something when it isn't finished. I am the same way about my 3D printer I built, not wanting to show it off until I have it working just right as I intended. I can't wait to see it finished.
I am still going to work on making my Infinity as close to the one from Halo 4 as I possibly can. I am really close to just starting from scratch in Autodesk. Might teach myself Maya just so it's easier to work with reference pictures. If anyone has orthographic pictures of the Infinity, post them here. They would be really helpful.
You could ask The Didact for his UNSC Infinity he made in his spare time. Since it is not going to be used in the mod due to the insane amount of polys it has you might be able to use it to print the Infinity for yourself.

it brings tears to my eyes how beautiful it is. If I get the opportunity to print it with my printer I would have to print it with sections I would link together and I hope that my print resolution to do it justice. Currently I have gold abs plastic in stock. My build volume is 7 inches in Diameter, would allow me to print an Infinity 4.6 inches tall, 3.55 inches wide, and 24.86 inches long. Assuming I keep proper proportions. Assuming I print it in roughly 9 inch sections that would mean I should break it up into roughly 3 sections in order to print it. I like this thought. I hope I can give it a shot. I want to make a Golden Infinity.
I am always honored when people give such fantastic compliments, and I can't wait to see my Infinity printed out :D
