Man, I was just watching the attack effects video, and I gotta say, that **** looks awesome. The animations are looking smoother and smoother! The only issue I found was with the Gallic Gun animation, but that could be fixed with some simple rigging.

Gotta say though, the lighting looks waaaay beyond what I thought the GoldSrc was capable of.

Anyway, so, Grega, I have to ask, why don't you guys do a Reddit AMA? It's a great way to boost popularity and to interact with the community. A lot of people that enjoyed ESF back in the day have no idea that it's still in development.

Yes, I know how long it's been in development. I don't see the need to express my age or my frustration through the comments section, as they're irrelevant.

Who are you to say what the developers should or shouldn't do with this mod? It's their work, and it's their time they spent on it. Nobody forced you to wait for it, your sense of entitlement is utterly pointless.

I'm showing support to the people who are actually doing this. Every few months I check this page to see how it's doing, and seeing all these whiny brats on the comments section made my stomach turn.

This isn't criticism, it's flat-out hate. People are downvoting comments and lashing out on the devs about stuff everyone knows about.

"Worshipping"? No, I'm just grateful that these folks are still developing this mod after so many years of you people whining. Who are you to say what "probably" will happen? It will release eventually, and I'm patient.

Regardless of the competence of the ESF team, they're amateurs. They are people with lives and jobs working on their free time on a mod. While I do have expectations, I don't agree that calling them "lazy *****" will make things go faster.

Sick of waiting? Then forget about the mod and go do something else. As I said, there's more to life than this mod.

Devs! Major bug, any help or fix??

I'm in the Air Force, trying to get into the control centre. But this Stephanie Maxwell chick won't talk to me! I think it's because I didn't trigger her conversation with the guard. I can't get the necessary nanokey, and I can't get into the room! Any chance of a fix, or an alternative for me?

This looks awesome! Nice job moving to Unreal Engine 4, it is one sexy game engine.

Also, I'm really glad about the multiplayer. There are too few multiplayer horror games, it's a whole new place yet to be explored.

In fact, they're disabled by default.
