I installed the game in steam steamapps sourcemods but could not launch it why HaHa I finally figured it out it works now

Where's The English patch not working game plays but it's not English

Finally got the game to play Woohoo
So these are the instructions for if the game crashes the only problem is if you go to steam library games and try to find tools there not there anymore but you can right click on the game and select properties there's no beta tab so what I tried was typing in launch options Beta "upcoming-" exactly as I have it here and the damned thing worked hopefully this will be helpful to someone else all I know is it worked for me now I get to run the obstacles again seems that all my last saves were lost when things got funky with the game
But at least it's working now.
YOU MAY CRASH AFTER THE INTRO LOGO, to fix this do the following:

1 - Go to your Steam library, click on games, from the drop menu select tools.

2 - In the tool list find "Source SDK base 2013 singleplayer", right click on it, select properties.

3 - Go to the BETAS tab, you should see a little down arrow under the "Select the beta you would like to opt into" title, click on it and from the dropdown menu choose "upcoming-" and click close.

4 - Steam will download some missing files, when done, restart your steam and launch NH2 again.

Great mod just wish I could get it to play again it crashes on start up and steam in there wisdom have removed tool's from the system so I can't get it to work anymore dose anyone know of another fix for it.so I can change that gd SDK thing

Question what do I do with or should I say put the content of the other zip files sush as guard.zip, maps.zip, maps.zip, ps2.zip Is ps for play station or what thanks and forgive the stupid question but I'm still learning

Why dose it have both a custom story setting and a bat file inside the folder is it a custom story or a full conversion not working in custom stories doesn't even show the game and tf I put it in amnesia the bat won't load the game how do I install this thing

Cool map as for PewDiePie didn't download it because of him, I enjoy his videos so don't get me wrong no hating on him, I just wanted to see what it looked like on my desktop

Happy Days I finally got the game working past the gates and all I did was delete my preferences the first game saved in my documents folder and started from scratch and bingo

Love the mod loader only it didn't find all my full conversion's and some are found twice

Yes Ok I guess it is a big gate anyway I can't enter it every time i try it won't load just plays the music I hear a clank in the insane version it putts me in another area but not in this version.
Thanks for getting back to me any idea how I can fix this I know I installed it correctly only way put the _cellar folder directly in amnesia

Yeah I guess it's the gate the first passage can't get through although I can with the insane version.

Question when you say put all the files no Amnesia is that just the Penumbra_eng and the Penumbra_2.bat or the content of the Penumbra_eng and the bat I put the Penumbra_eng and the Penumbra_2bat in it starts but when I start a new game it crashes on me owe almost forgot I use steam

Assuming you are the same who did the cellar I can't figure out for the life of me why this version works perfectly but I can't get past the beginning of the regular cellar as soon as I get to the first gate and try to go in it just sits and plays music but won't load the next map. this one no problem maybe I'm insane.

I can't get into the house at the beginning game just plays music for ever I took a long time made a cup of coffee came back and nothing happens so I deleted it installed insane cellar and then I got in only problem is I'm not insane enough to play that way

where dose it go custom stories or amnesia directory
