While I know this year was a pretty bad year for doom mods, this statement just flat out makes you look like an *******. It doesnt help your argument when you make yourself look as bad as the people accusing you of stealing assets or making alts.

I dont want to be taken as 'taking a side' in this argument or anything, but... I keep hearing this claim of stolen code being thrown around, and stolen assets, but I've never seen anyone actually show proof.

Can I get a link to some proof, please?

I've enjoyed your other remods, but this by far seems to be your most impressive work. You turned what sounds like an utter pile of trash from your description of the original into one of the best half life mods i've played in a while. Potentially worth being put right up there alongside the likes of USS Darkstar and Poke646.

This really deserves more attention.

This mod is dead. No matter what the creator himself claims or says or want to say, its dead.

He doesnt want to release it as a paid project, and is working on it part time while doing important work for both day of infamy and Insurgency: Sandstorm. He is working on it alone, and unlike when he released underhell for the source engine originally, he has no gameplay base, no weapon assets, no enemy ai to make use of.

What he is attempting to do, is remake the prologue and chapter 1 on a new engine, along with the house segments. In doing so, he has to make new textures, new models, new weapons, and new enemy Ai and behaviors. Hes doing all of this as a side project, a VERY much side project, to Sandstorm and DoI.

Quite simply, it is completely unreasonable and flat out improbable it will ever be released. Keep in mind that even outside of the fact he has to remake the first 2 parts, then make his chapter 2, he also needs to still get new voice acting, and finish the remaining chapters at some point.

So goodbye, underhell. It was fun while it lasted.

Any news on when the tech demo/singleplayer demo is going to come out?
