Hey there. You're right; this mod was buggy and never properly finished. I'm not working on this mod anymore, but I'm helping out on a much better RPG mod here: Deusexmultiplayer.freeforums.org

Cozmo_RPG was protected from editing when it was new to prevent a notorious member of the MP community from ruining it, claiming credit etc. I'll put up the editable version shortly, seeing as that was ages ago. :)

Small update: this mod can now be hosted by anyone. See the Readme from the main download - it links to the instructions.

Don't worry; you only need a password for hosting it. Unless you're having problems joining the server?

Thanks a lot for the offer :) thankfully we should be fine without new models (dx modelling is a pain) but if I implement armour etc in a later version like you've suggested then some custom textures would be amazing.

Your character is customizeable, but it's very limited at the moment. Right now there's a small clothes shop and an expensive suit shop, so clothing is currently the only variable. When I update it after this release I'll definitely have proper customisation (face / skin, trench coats, glasses, custom stuff etc).

I think I'll try and get the second release out a few weeks after the first (which should be in a few days actually :) )

Thanks! :) I've been working on it on and off for somewhere between 1 - 2 years, but it's been slow with college coming and going in that time. Will definitely be utilising time better in the future though. Anyway yeah; 2 weeks maximum :)

It felt like I was watching an advert for a big dramatic action movie, but in DX. :P It looks amazing, I can't wait!
