Sven 3.0 and before did back when "classic mode" was the normal game. You can still find the installers for them on here. Either way some other mods do have the "portable medkit" weapon now in my eyes does make Sven Co-op a bit obsolete given how much easier the original game and addons movements controls are :P

you should, it's puzzles aren't THAT difficult compared to the later levels of the original Quake or Doom. For everythinig else theirs picture walkthroughs online just in case i'm sure.

TIP FOR THOSE WHO FIND THIS LITTLE GEM WANTING CO-OP Play: If you truley want to be able to "save and load" your game while attempting "coop" with friends you must turn deathmatch off in the new game menu for this mod then adjust the maxplayers slider to something above 3 then load a singleplayer map from the console drop down box. You can get the map names by looking up cheat codes online. The game WILL let you save your game just about anytime u want in-game using the drop down console command "savegame(space)insertnamehere"(remove quotes). You can then proceed to load that Save the next time u and your friends want to play using "loadgame insertnamehere" command BUT ONLY at the menu screen after first booting up the game will the "loadgame" command work! If you want weapons and ammo u can also find the give cheats for those online as well and use them FOR EXAMPLE: "bind o give weapon_sword.tik" give player who presses it the green sword. Trust me when I say its much easier less buggy to the "give" command whilst "spawn" commands are only good for Health or Ammo.
IF YOU ARE PLAYER TRYING TO JOIN A GAME: simply go to new game and type the IP address into the box that says "connect" then hit enter. You may get a black screeN for few seconds or have to press ESC but it will eventually load.

Pretty sure the various Unreal Tournament 99 weapon and 3D models packs already out there pretty much already accomplish what this mods trying to do.

Sooo are you able to post anymore exe's that may be compatible with your mod? cus so far it still doesn't work with the one your mod provies even after a clean install. Do I need the 1.1 patch first or you saying should just borrow one from another mod like Long Night?

Sorry for waiting so long, I'm currently running the game on Windows 10, I literally did a clean install of v1.0 and i still can't use the exe your mod came with without it crashing with one of those "unhandled exception on launch" errors. Have to admit is pretty strange considering the original exe works fine. No other mods.

Ummm how about an answer for those having "Unhandled Exception on Launch" issues, below in the comments lik me!?! You need to update this mod with a better supported exe.

There's a mission select script mods you can download to fix that, or those save anywhere menu mods. Tho i would suggest saving in a area close to where the original save icons are located such as near the mansion in order to avoid inifite loading glitches.

By Brutal's "unnecessary changes" you mean all the absurd fatality moves added to monsters that they can pull off AGAINST the player making it 8x harder then it has to be just like the Aliens in Sven Coop for half life riiiiight? I'll take new muzzle flash's and alternative firing modes and death animations that BEAUTY DOOM offer's anyday. Only thing this mods missing really is Brutal's Assault Rifle. :P

Just start a coop server and on the "game" tab scroll down to where it sys "default items: and you add about 5 things you want to start with for instance: weapon_plasma;weapon_mp5;weapon_sniperrifle;item_battery Then when the map starts you'll have the HEV suit plus those items already :)

and if that's not enough the final solution is download something called D2SE 2.2 and this Chaosmarc.de version of the mod someone fixed to work with it, boots instantly if do it right :D

Except there's no Story mode to play in the standalone. Only multiplayer survival and barely anyone seems to play the "story maps" they did finally release. That and class specific weapons is still forced upon you in the new ones. Sucks if you ask me.

if your referring to LAN play then yes would assume, if not upon release then a later date for sure xD

lol How hard can it be? You simply drop the files into a RTCW folder on your desktop or heck even drop them into your main RTCW folder of the already installed singleplayer game if you like then launch it with the exe the mod comes with. Then when you reach the main menu you'll find the button to "create game" at top, choose a map, choose a difficulty, hit Launch and bam! Let your friends join over LAN. Unless you want to actually host over the internet then thats a whole different port-forwarding step to follow. Maybe I can host for you ;)

You do know the internet mode server's shutdown right? LAN mode's the only one that work's now. There's a separate mod called IP connect that you have to download to view server's with people you can play online again with. Very few seem to play anymore though.

How do you load the custom maps!?!?

When are you people gunna get it? NOTHING IS COMPATIBLE WITH BFG EDITION!!
The graphics engine's code been completely redon, therefore making all the mods useless unless you own the original DooM 3! lol

update: Now days you have to put it in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Half-Life

Try joining a server running one of the maps starting with "of" or "ba" and find out for yourself. I didn't have blue shift installed and one server just about let me download the entire thing anyway. xD
