So I'm not real keen on making requests, I know its hard to prioritize other people's ideas over you own, but the melee combo key sort of makes fists and the chainsaw pretty dang obsolete. Is there any chance you could add in a few melee weapons to help keep the slot relevant in late game? Maybe a weapon that has a wide swing arc that uses similar effects to kicking an enemy, only applied to a wider area?

Brutal Doom sort of made the chainsaw less powerful on its own by giving the fists considerably more power/usefulness, and I think that's kind of a shame. Would love to see some viable variety when it comes to melee combat.

I still absolutely love this mod though, you did pretty damn awesome with it. I'm currently rolling up random maps with OBLIGE to make something of a roguelike out of it, the expanded weapon and enemy lists makes it that much more exciting.

This has puzzle game written all over it without even needing to be focused on it. Occasionally give a couple pieces of debris a specific place it has to be put and you have all you need for level designers.

Imagine a level where you have three or four caskets with a cause of death next to them and its you job to sort out the the peices of the burn victim from the exploded man and the chainsaw accident. :P

Also, cleaning up bloody footprints on the ceiling is already a puzzle to solve as is. :P

Mop buckets and pretty much everything else can be tossed into the furnace. Just open it with your empty hands and give the objects some time to burn down.

Also, stacking buckets is legitimately pro mode. I keep getting bucket explosions when I try.

Twisting the Chaff Grenade primes it, using melee while primed will cause it to explode on contact.

Is there any mutator enabled that might change how bots would prioritize navigating the map? Something like items being spawned in at random places or the like?

I have not noticed this behavior yet, though I run Loadout rather than swap. Could you check to see if they do the same thing when running Loadout rather than Swap? There may be something up with weapon spawns that could potentially be interfering with priorities. I'm not really sure at this point.

Your claim that he removed karma physics on grenades being for personal choice is way off base. No one would think it would be better to have less realistic physics for the game, but if that means unreliable net replication, it seems like a pretty obvious decision to go for a far more stable solution.

While I admit the grenade physics aren't as nice now, I can't fathom how this could negatively affect anyone's actual game play experience in any significant capacity. If it does for you, than you so far would be the only one to mention something about it.

The only changes that could have any solid argument for personal preference would be the balance changes, and so far it seems to be pretty much agreed that they are making for a better game by taking weapons from the extreme ends of the balance spectrum and turning them into weapons that are more fit to see regular play.

We're doing last minute beta testing and bug fixes at the moment, to try and avoid the shaky releases that tend to happen when trying to meet a deadline (though that still happened, this news post wasn't exactly supposed to get published just yet. Oops.).

Joke? I should hope not. We made the MOA-C throwable by hand, for a reason. This reason is because we thought it'd make an exceplent club.

Tip: Arming an impact grenade and then hitting something with it is an awesome idea.

File is awaiting authorization, we had some hiccups but they should be resolved with the latest file.

Check later tonight, maybe tomorrow. Generally it doesn't take very long to get the files authorized.
