Okay i feel pretty stupid.
I just tried to play the necron campaign again and it worked this time. i was having problems with the astaroids running into my main ship without noticing it
I have an issue with the necron campaign.
the very first mission it wants you to use the running silent command.
the 2 small ships can use it but the main ship does not have that command as an option.
Due to this it makes the necron campaign unplayable
does this mod support the single player campaign?
no there wont be. that is hard coded into the main menu. it doesnt use a text file but pictures.
so when exactly is the new version going to release?
yes it does make games boring but again. its a bug in the mod that I myself can not fix. I am not the dev of the mod I'm only some guy that decided he was getting sick of waiting for an english patch to come out and made one.
that will not work with my mod. this is only made to work with 1.0 not 0.91
and to fix that problem you must rename the installer using english lettering
Its the same installation as the original mod. Make a shortcut of the homeworld 2.exe file. Right click on it and click properties.
Then add -mod yaoduMOD1.0.big,yaoduMOD1.0ENPatchV2Fixed.big -hardwarecursor
To the target line. making sure that the " is removed from the line. Or just use silent spy mod manager for homeworld 2.

It's a known bug in yaoduMOD. the AI cheats. Nothing I can do about it. but it's also called skill. have you guys tried it before? It took my awhile to figure it out but its just like commmand & conquer 3. you need to build this first research that first.
or you could just go to my mod page. It's not that hard to find. Also there really isn't a readme. I haven't changed anything in the mod. I've only translated it.
Did you download the latest patch? I had that same problem myself and fixed it.

Move the yaoduMOD1.0 to youre homeworld 2 data folder along with my patch file. Make sure homeworld 2 is updated to 1.1 or it wont work.
Ether make a shortcut or use silentspy mod manager to run the mod.
Its recommended you use the mod manager.
When using the mod manager make sure both yaoduMOD1.0 and my english patch are selected.
you have to make sure the installers name is changed to something in english otherwise it will freak out and not recognize the text.
(example)
original installer.
(*%*@#*%@*%.exe
Rename it to something like
installer.exe

I think I figured it out. I was saving the patch file alias as DATA instead of locale. I figured it out when I was using a tool to look at the names and how to mod was structured.
well I feel like an idiot. I finally figured out I was saving the patch as the wrong file alias when I was using the package manager.
