That's well and good, but any sort of statement or update that isn't 'look how close we are to making all this money' would be very welcome. There are other crowdfunding platforms available that allow for charitable donations, and of course, the option of not doing the project and making money out of a disaster?

I've not voted on anyone's post, actually. I don't think the creation of Monopoly can be compared to the creation of a set of playing cards that are supposedly somehow memorialising the event or the lives lost, despite making money from the endeavour and no mention of any sort of charitable donation?

I don't really understand what Monopoly has to do with this?...

I would say that Paradox don't use the anniversary to launch their product purporting to be doing so as a memorial to those who lost their lives...

Since the article itself was deleted, I think I too must express my feelings on this new card Kickstarter - I feel that using the anniversary of a terrible disaster to launch a Kickstarter project is in poor taste at best, and I honestly expected better from individuals involved in the STALKER modding community due to our close affiliation with the associated events.
Making money by capitalising on the anniversary of a disaster where a lot of people lost their lives is not the way I would have thought MDT would remember and commemorate the efforts of those involved.

I'm hopeful this comment won't be deleted like the article was, but in my opinion any money made from this venture (after costs are recouped of course) should be donated to a Chernobyl-focused charity.
Judging from the multitude of comments on the article, I'm not the only one thinking this. I'm hopeful to hear a statement to this effect soon.

Wormwood already contains a custom version of Absolute Nature and Absolute Structures, as well as our own improvements in this area.

It will not be easily compatible with AO.

There are no 'vanilla stashes' - every stash is a brand new one :)

You're correct Nasha :) One difference though is that vanilla CoP had almost zero actual 'stashes' - they were all items lying in the world rather than containers with interesting names/descriptions/stories like we have :)

Ignore the PC specs overlay, Shadowplay neglected to tell me it was going to do that until I watched it after recording...
