Sorry, the site has some issues, but hopefully in the near future the game will be available via Steam and will not require a separate registration or download.

@TheScriptan Starship Empire development is still on going. Due to the failed Kickstarter development has slowed, but is still in progress. I'm a lone developer with a full time job and two young kids, so it's hard even finding the time to work on it, but rest assured, it will happen at some point.

Thanks @Marktk! Development is a little slow due to the Kickstarter funding goal not being met, but slowly but surely I'm working towards release.
