I went back to older posts here and found that most people had the same problem, while a few others didn't. I have the same problem and have played through the mission a few times.

I decided to set up a little "experiment" and positioned scouts near all 3 of the locations where the probes spawn. I destroyed them before the vagyr carrier jumps in, and the objective is marked completed, with fleet command saying they were all destroyed and to stay on high alert. I got the "enemy emerging from hyperspace" message twice soon after with nothing actually emerging from hyperspace. The vagyr carrier jumped in later and I destroyed it, along with any probes it dropped, and then all was quiet again. Still stuck.

I think that the problem/glitch/whatever has to do with the 3 carrier hyperspacing in, not the actual objective, because I did the objective and I'm still sitting here twiddling my thumbs. I still got the "enemy units emerging from hyperspace" message that everybody gets if they wait long enough, but nothing happens.

BTW, I did reset the campaign as somebody suggested, nothing changed when I got to this mission.

Sometimes I'll buy a game mostly for the mods. HL and HL2 put out SUPERB mods. For Dystopia, Empires, Insurgency, Iron Grip: The Opression, and soon Eternal Silence 2 beta 3, I would easily pay 5 times the amount that Valve set HL2DM at. When I bought Battlefield 1942, I bought it solely for Desert Combat and Galactic Conquest. All in all, agreeing with what everybody else said, mods heavily increase the value of a game, and in some cases, actually make it worth buying.

Sounds UBER. I'm sure this will turn the mod's largest bad points 180 degrees, especially the substem and requisition systems. Good luck guys, I love ur mod. You guys get an A+ in my book.

They'd get more money by putting in the ads, then offering to remove them if we pay a few extra dollaz.

Glad to see you're not dead. Me and 2 others are waiting for the new version, we've all played the 4 maps seperatly and want to do a new one together.

YESSSSS!!!! YOUR ALIVE!!!!!! I thought you guys were dead for SURE. OMG, this has to be my favorite mod concept ever. I was going to delete this from my mod watch list last week, but it was so good I wanted to keep it just for record. OMG YAY UR BACK!!!!

o and btw, it says "0everybody is ur enemy." Are the humans still ur friends cuz ur just a cat?

WOW. 10/10 for me. Haven't played a mod, let alone game, this good in a LONG time. It's like an action movie brought to life. Only complaint I have is that those danm burning doors kept killing me during the cutscenes. Had to shoot them out of the way.

O and btw, I didn't have any problem with the loading time. Took a little over 2 minutes for me on full settings...

And to let everybody know, ur supposed to shoot the helicopters at the base of the rotor, where it makes the little sparking effects. :p

YESSS FINALLY a punk heavy model. Love the "Punk Hideout" pic, not to mention the movie too...

Is it a horror mod? It kinda gives the atmosphere, but its not in the description.

sounds absouletely great! Ya vampires and zombies are overrated, werewolves are soooooooo much l33t3r.

I like realistc blood, but I also like gibbage for high explosives and decapitation for high power weapons.

concept reminds me of the game Arcanum. It's like the far future of the fantasy world, "when magic and technology colide"

EXCELENT mod, kinda buggy tho. Love the gameplay, superb balance between puzzles and combat.

looks GREAT so far, but the only issue i have is that I think that the conventional team might split off and engage the unconventional team in the backalleys and stuff instead of being "conventional"...

just installed 8b and there were no servers. Played a little by myself, this looks really good. Like the music btw.

Wow, this mod is good. It did a good job of combining RTS and FPS elements. The only complaint that I have is that its way too hard to rank up, especially for engineers. It's also a bit unbalanced and its glitchy, but cmon, it's open beta :P

BTW: This mod reminds me of C&C Renegade, which was pretty good multiplayer. This is the only other place I've seen buildings be used as sprites and not just part of the map.

can't wait, hope it's as good as Galactic Conquest, was a superb mod, especially the cap-ship combat

holy ****.... wow, that was some of the best graphics ive seen in my life, most definatly for a sim. And danm, u guys must be the very first to make that planet-space transition actually SMOOTH. The others that I've seen just have a shot of your ship in space engulfed in flames, and the same on the planet, no transition. OMFG THIS VIDEO IS LIKE WOW!!!!
