It's a rendition of the song one of our music artists did for the mod and the guy who made the video grabbed it not realizing it was Terminator. It's old news. ;)

Plans yes, but not for the initial release. We'll still be on the 2007 engine for that because we'd rather get a public beta going first before we sink more time into porting to the new version. 2013 sadly also still has a few rather annoying bugs and Valve seem to have stopped updating the SDK for the moment. :/
The game is not released yet ;)
(hope I understood your question correctly - if it was a question)
This version was made by one of our Sound and Music guys though, if that helps. xD
I just know it's from our Anubis map which has been around a long time. But we're not too happy with it so we're gonna change or at least improve it sooner or later.
A different planet, but Kheb related. :)
It's a song from our soundtrack, written specifically for this video. You can listen to it on our website www.sgmod.de
It wasn't even stino who googled that texture, another mapper must have added that to our mod a few years back. I didn't even know that it wasn't his own, thanks for the info!
You'll be fine. You don't even need to have CS:S *installed* to play it.
This FAQ page should answer that: Cspromod.com
Also the About page is also worth reading.
Thanks. A lot of sounds have already been replaced by our own. And the rest will follow. ;)
I enjoy those ball rolling puzzle type games quite a bit. So this has me hooked already. Have to give it a try. Can... not... resist!
He is in-game. But also currently being re-modeled by our only - but kick-*** - character modeler. He has a lot of work to do re-modeling *all* our characters. :)
In case any char. modeler is reading this:
An additional high-detail character modeler would certainly speed up the process *hint*!
Dear Praz, I already told you this yesterday... *slapslap* O_o
Yes it does. And it is very simple to place in a map. :)
Correct, but while that is not Source, this is: Sgmod.de
Thank you. No release date yet. Once we feel comfortable setting one we will let you know and update our profile accordingly.
On that note it couldn't hurt to have some more texture artists on the team *cough* ;)
The Stargate Mod, to the best of my knowledge, has been around longer than any other of said Stargate mods for HL2 and does not share the StargateTC background. So beside the fact that they all shared the same theme, this mod is very different in gameplay and features.
This is looking pretty promising, deserves a try!
We don't like to give out percentages simply because they are not accurate. We have a few maps done, same for weapons, we mostly need to finish effects and animations (+character models) and some more code and maps maybe.
Aside from the fact that you might not care about the term "work-in-progress" you also seem to have overlooked the statement in our news article about the character models currently being reworked from scratch. Concerning the rather large off-topic remainder of your comments I suggest you take your opinion to the forums.
Wanted to note that the "Stargate:Source" mod on the "Related Mods" list is not the one mentioned in the podcast. It's called 'The Stargate Mod' for HL2: Moddb.com
Anyways nice podcast, enjoyed listening. :)
Thank you. As for the 'kawoosh' a quote from the corresponding news article: "[...] is still heavily being worked on like the kawoosh effect". This was our very first version and we're still working on it aiming the get it as close to the series as possible. :)
Sorry about that, it has now been updated with the high-quality version.
