Yes, it definitely belongs to the same class of game as Minecraft, Infiniminer, and Cubeworlds.
We feel these games created a great foundation for the genre of voxel world-simulation, and chose to build on and expand on some of the concepts they pioneered.
Looking good so far, but on your human models, you might want to refine your wireframe topology. Look at some examples online. For instance, midsections usually flow in a V-pattern into the pubis, and around the tilt where the legs meet the hips. This reduces the number of polies you need dramatically, and helps your models animate more fluidly and naturally. Also the open genitals thing is strange, but whatever suits you I guess lol.
