Yup. Not sure why so many mods think this is a good idea. Considering a lot of the in-game information isn't spoken with a text-menu to help you understand it.

I wholeheartedly agree. I don't understand why everyone is being so impatient. I'm not saying I wouldn't like the mod to be out now, because I really would, but I've been waiting for almost an entire year, and if he needs more time I can wait longer. I mean my god, my whining and bitching isn't going to make the mod come out any faster.

If the standard CoP Desert Eagle uses .45 ammunition it makes perfect sense that you have to refit the gun to use .50 ammunition. If you tried to fire .50 ammunition down a .45 barrel your gun wouldn't work. The barrel needs to be replaced to accommodate the larger ammo size.
