Thank you so so so much for creating this. It really brings Misery together and you made it so simple to use! Gunslinger on the other hand is hard to find, hard to install, unstable and incompatible with absolute nature! This is such a better option for people who cant stand MISERY when its brown and dead.
Ill never go back. Every time I revisit COP its going to be with Misery and this mod together.
Misery is like Doom in the sense that its the reason we have shooters the way they are today. What would STALKER mods look like if Misery never existed? I dont think Anomaly would be around and CoC would be the best it got.
RTCW was my first Wolfenstein game. I remember seeing this posted years ago and hoping it would be finished soon! Im glad ive come back to moddb after a while and found many of the projects I followed finished or still active.
I hope you finish this project one day and I hope I get to play it. Cant wait to check out the crypt levels.
Thank you for making this! Its very easy to set up and is in my opinion the best way to experience the mod on steam. The bug fixes and continuity being intact and organized made playing the whole thing a breeze.

Please for the love of god don't make the same mistakes as the people who made MISERY or Last Day. MAKE THE GAME CHANGING HARDCORE MECHANICS OPTIONAL. EVERYONE WHO PLAYS YOUR GAME ISNT GOING TO WANT TO PLAY WITH EVERYTHING EXACTLY AS YOU PUT IT AND IT MAKES SOME PEOPLES GAME INTO A BAD EXPERIENCE.
If I want unoccupied beds to be inaccessible useless objects to taunt me I should have the OPTION for that, not be FORCED to deal with it. Why have all these buttons and sliders for the other bad design in the game but not sleep related things? Theres so many options to make the game easier but why not bed access?
Can you please re-enable beds with this mod? I think its extremely non-fun design to remove the beds and then put the player in a hardcore experience where its hard to make money and finds stuff while being miles away from anywhere to sleep.
No i'm not going to turn sleep deprivation off, I want it to be part of my experience because it makes sense, you know what doesn't make sense?
Some ******* thought it would be a funny joke to not give you a sleeping bag and instead chose to give you a bed spread which DOESN'T ACTUALLY LET YOU SLEEP ITS JUST A PASSIVE BONUS NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD CARES ABOUT.

1.3 Crashes when I launch a new game on the loading screen.
I looked in the folders I needed and there still isn't anything in them. dev_datchik_1 and 3 are the only folders that are missing files. It does look like there are a bunch of folders that I didn't have before which is a good start.

Something must be wrong with my archive program ,yea but... is there anywhere else I can download 1.1 from? My download is literally missing files and two separate archive programs cant find the information where it should be, if its even there. Is there another program like winrar or 7zip I could use? Maybe theres someone else who may know more who could help me?
This project is ******* amazing and with some damage and behavior tweaks on some npc's I think it could be the pinnacle of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience. Its deeply frustrating to not be able to enjoy the game because of this.
Yea this is definitely the issue. I looked under gamedata/meshes/dynamics/devices in both my games folder and the .rar package and the .ogf files for dev_datchik 1 and 3 are missing.
If I can just get these files im pretty sure it will fix the problem.
I looked in the locations where my archive programs said there was missing information and the folders are just empty. Perhaps you could help me out by giving me a package of all these missing files or something? Ill check inside of the .rar file again and go to the same locations and see if there is even a file in them to begin with. Maybe I just have to drag stuff over myself again and the archive program is just being a bitch.
This hasn't helped me at all. I tried using 7zip this time and it didn't change anything. I dont really know what to do at this point. I pretty much can't play the game with a majority of the factions and can't beat story mode.
I even re-downloaded the whole thing and re-installed it from the ground up and had the same issue.
I may have found the problem. I decided to just drag the mod files from the .rar package into the folder where I had the mod and let the archive program merge any missing content with existing information but it seems there's about 45 files missing from my download or something. What should I do about this?

This doesn't just happen in Yantar. Traders in Freedom, Ecologists and Military gave me a CTD because of missing content or something.
I installed it by creating a new folder, dragging all the content inside of it and then installing the translation mod. I just dragged and dropped the content like you would other mods.
Is this because I installed it incorrectly or something? Did I miss a step?
Heres a crash report for a CTD I get when I try to talk to the lead scientist in Yantar. 1.1 is awesome buts its giving me a lot of trouble. Constantly having to restart to get the translation options to work, Not being able to mod the level textures with absolute nature and these crashes in yantar again.

Im having a CTD problem in Yantar. Im quite sure its related to the calibrated psy helmet you need to disable the brain scorcher. Trying to load a save with this thing equipped always crashes.
Has this bug been fixed in 1.1? If not I can give a crash log if I can just figure out where they're stored and how to properly give one to you.
Quick question, I found an Exoskeleton and I cannot repair it with a heavy outfit repair kit even though it says is usable on ALL outfits and headgear above 30%. This is the best exoskeleton I think ill ever find just off some randy's body and Im not sure if this is a bug or not because its there isnt a way to tell exactly what condition my armor is in. I have so little information other than this tiny colored bar. Do I just have a suit at 29%? Do I have to use a technician to repair exoskeletons? Can the player not repair deteriorated/worn advanced items? I only bring this up because what little information I have is very unclear and its very confusing. Like, the condition bar looks so good that im legitimately unsure if its a bug or not.
Good news! I found the problem. I looked in the configs folder where .xml files for text is stored and found the Eng folder completely empty. Not a single file. So after manually putting all the files in the right place it works. Deleting the Rus folder probably helped to. Perhaps the issue was with winrar or something. Im excited now so im gonna give this mod a try.

When I said "working in the first place" I meant if it even works for me. I didn't say it was your fault. Ive already completely re-installed the mod twice. The first time was because I used the incorrect version of CoC when I began. The second time was because of this and of course it still doesn't work. Im going to try tracking down every single individual file related to language in game and manually replace them. If that doesn't work than I can't think of anything else I could try.
Well ****. If the PDA is in russian I guess I can still play and just do quests based off of markers but im pretty sure this mod includes custom jobs and not being able to read about their details is a big let down. I hope the translation mod gets finished soon and is even working in the first place cause I haven't played COM before and not being able to play because the translation mod isn't working would be a bigger disappointment than clear sky's ending.
Are the translation files incomplete? Ive only checked the games main menu and started a game for a few minutes. Is the main menu and pda not translated yet? I even deleted the localization file and replaced it directly with the one from the translation mod and it still didnt work.
Yes, If the game works but the translation doesn't then im pretty sure everything is in place. No matter what I do it just wont change anything even though it says its replacing files.
Hello! I need some help because the English translation mod for CoM: Last day doesn't seem to work. The game boots up fine and I can play it but I just cant read anything. Any suggestions for fixing this? When I install the translation is asks me to replace files and makes my hard drive run so its doing something but just doesn't seem to actually effect the game.
