Are those eucalyptus trees?
This is looking really good, I love the textures!
Hey Mate!
Probably a bit late but thanks for the constructive crits on a some of the screenshots of Night Terror!
Looks absolutely amazing!
Did you use a single light entity with a high brightness to achieve the lighting effect?
Ok so the development of Starvin Marvin is finished! That means the development of this mod is back in full swing shortly!
some of them look horizontally stretched..
Nuh mate. I've put this mod on hold until maybe May or early June so I can finish another project I'm working on for school.
I didn't post it here because I didn't think it was a big deal if I paused development for 3 months.
Rest assured, I'm very pleased with how the development of this project is going and I'm determined to finish it!
Its actually snarkpit.net tnk_x5000 :)
Whoa, this looks really good!
It means that I'm always working on something (mod, game, map etc) and I work under my desk in the shadows with my gorilla suit at hand.
Alright, sure. Feel free to show me some wips so I can give you some feedback and such. If you need any basic static props I can make them.
Looks cool, good luck with the development of this dissonance.
Thanks guys :).
pupkin, there is a bit of custom content already made in the map such as custom sound effects, metal shelf models, a road sign model and variety of textures. I've also added normal maps to some of the original textures. And more custom content is being added to the mod as it is needed :)
Certainly has alot of potential. At the moment, things look pretty repetitive, you have trees, water, road, displacements and that's really it. I'm interested to see how you can keep things fresh, perhaps there will be a few cool places to stop and look at, some interesting road terrain to drive through and ofcourse, plenty of custom content to keep things fresh and exciting, it wouldn't be as good if you just used stock content for this mod.
I feel like I'm back in my Train Simulator days.
I'm really excited about this mod, after watching the videos you have it certainly seems quality isn't going to be a problem.
I'm curios, how long have you been working on this mod and how many people are working on it?
I've been watching this mod over at Interlopers. This looks really cool, I love the abandon, aged, damaged environments!
Best of luck with the development of the mod :).
Heard about this on the PlannetPhillip podcast 17. Looks good, looking forward to it!
Wow, looking good, I'm very excited for this mod!
Wow, I this is a very impressive screenshot.
I'm sorry Kaski, but its pretty obvious you haven't mapped ever before. Its fine to say that you don't like his mapping (it is a bit primitive) but for you to say that he should never touch Hammer in his life is an insult. Every single mapper starts out like this, he has only been mapping for 2 years, so I would say he is on par wouldn't you?
