That's odd, even with new starbase constructors I can't make a new one anywhere else. Could it be caused by a broken download or something?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can the Borg only make one Unimatrix? It confuses me as it always says that I've reached the maximum amount of starbase in a planet when there are none, other than the free one you get for your capital.

Just a thought, I suppose it would make more sense if the Vasari titans are larger than the Advent's or TEC's, considering that they're supposed to be mobile homeworlds.

Alright, played the mod a bit, gonna put down my two cents on balancing. I think that the superlaser is a tad too strong to be put on a normal auto-attack, I suggest making it more of an ability.

Also, tone down the planet bombing a little. Currently, I feel that there's barely any use to the planetary defenses as almost every ship can planet-bomb and deal high amounts of damage in short amounts of time. Golan platforms and fighter defenses can't do anything if the planet's dead within a minute.

Lastly, I don't know if this is because it's still a beta, but it seems that the Black Sun and Rebels don't get as many hero ships as the Empire, let alone heroes that can survive more than a few seconds against the Eclipse SSDs.

The Death Star, currently, is the largest unit in the mod (or any other mod), by far. I built it next to my homeworld and it's pretty much as big as the planet itself. Not that I mind though, just pointing it out.

Just tried the mod and oh boy you sure weren't kidding when you said that the gameplay would be very different. Still trying to figure out what does what, though it does play very well so far. Don't know about the balancing yet, haven't really played much.

What's the problem with making an account on his site and downloading there? It's rather simple, and probably takes not more than five minutes.

Nomada probably has his reasons not to release the mod here, which is well within his right as the mod's author.

Played the release, plays really great with all the updates. It seems that the AI doesn't know how to use the Klingons' Shockwave Ship though, they just use it like any other ships.

Also, sometimes I got messages saying that "A crystalline entity has entered the system" or something along the line, but nothing seems to happen anywhere in the map. I was playing a huge random map.

Most of us don't mind waiting, really. If you guys are planning to do a more strategic release, then that's fine. A good release is important if you want to have more players and improve your status as game developers, as you (at least to me) seem to be more serious about making games and mods in a professional way. Also, if you guys get good reception we might get more releases too :)

All in all, I hope that the release will be successful and another high quality mod released for us all.

Huh, the Klingon titan cost a ton and there aren't any ability there except for a suicide button that's practically a "screw you and your fleet" button. Is this supposed to happen or am I missing something?

Focusing on them when they're in the opposite corner of the map would mean that you have to over-expand and leave you vulnerable to attacks from other players. With the AI, making even a cease fire would require relatively high amount of resources and research, leaving you depraved of time and resource to build up your fleet therefore losing your only advantage against the Borg.

This is not exactly criticism though, as I also enjoy fighting against the Borg in SoA (diplomacy is easier there somehow), just looking for some advice.

The general proposed strategy is to rush the Borg early on. That alone is fine, but how are you supposed to do that in a large map? Finding them would be a problem, and getting to them is a bigger problem. Romulans can probably use fleet cloak and blitz their capital later on, but for other factions it would be next to impossible.

Don't activate it using the ingame mod enabler, use the file in the download instead.

Well no rush needed, of course. Take your time to polish the mod and deal with real life first. I prefer a complete and good release much more than a rushed one :)

It's kinda easy to screw someone up with the Romulans, especially with capital victory enabled. Make a cease fire, take the Scimitar to their capital, break cease fire, activate the thaleron pulse, and instant victory.

Dirty Romulans and their evil plots...

It seems that in the klingon space map one random player will be instantly defeated, regardless of ai or human. Also, will stellar phenomenon work in premade maps? Other than that, I'm really enjoying the mod :)

Alright, how the bloody hell am I supposed to beat the Mother of Invention ship with 1000 armor and 1000% dodge when it spawns 3 planets away from my capital in a choke point? I guess I'm screwed :V

Is the Salvation class missing an ability? When I look at its ability tab it has an empty slot on the top left side, and I almost always have a spare upgrade point with nowhere to put it in.

Actually, the 50,000 years thing is only concerned with how many years have passed since the Prothean cycle. There aren't any other indication that invasions happen for every 50 millenniums, so there might be less Reapers than what you think.

It doesn't really matter though, as they steamrolled the galaxy in ME3 which I presume is over the span of a few months.
