We want to get out at least one more update to fix some bugs (and hopefully I can sneak in a couple new goodies!)

Sorry to say that it's just a minimum spec requirement issue. We use a lot of custom shaders that utilize some cool things that we couldn't get with the basic Unity shaders.

VANISH requires a DirectX 9c+ compatible graphics card to use Shader Model 3.0. Please make sure that have the latest drivers for your graphics card. If the issue still persist, you may need a hardware upgrade.

I'll talk to the guys about it. We've had a few requests but I'm not sure exactly what it'd be. Just the menu screens or like from beginning to end type deal?

The change log can be found in the readme file with each download. It's a little more than just bug fixes.

Yes! We are working on pushing a beta out in hopefully the next couple of weeks!

You must first unzip the download before playing. Once you do that, it should create a Vanish folder. And inside will be another folder called Data and the Vanish exe. As long as you keep both of those together, it should work.

What about the player's height don't you like?

We will definitely be putting Vanish out on Linux, so you will have let us know if there are any problems!

It really is. Vanish, because it's completely random at runtime, is all luck based.

We've watched every video of his he puts out playing Vanish! We love that he has a love/hate relationship for the game!

I can assure you, whenever we do release the update, it'll probably just be harder :P

Wow! Haha, congrats! We've told a few people that it can take anywhere from 5min to 45min in one game, all depends on luck. And even though it may be random, you still took the right turns, so kudos!

We've tried to keep Vanish free for our users by using the free version of Unity (which has made it an exciting challenge!), we had always planned to keep it free, so we aren't even considering donations! We just want our fans to enjoy Vanish and have as much fun as we have had making it :)

As much as we'd love to get the mic interaction in for a fun little addition, chances are it just won't happen for the amount of time we have to work on it and how far into development we already are. We have, however, tweaked our creature's textures a bit and we hope you find them more scary! :D

There's a lot of core elements to Vanish that we want to keep that would make your suggestion not work. Right now, the game could last anywhere from 10min (extremely lucky) to 40+min (extremely unlucky). Adding another level after the gate would make the players that "beat" it in 40+min cry and hate us :P

We also don't want any saves/checkpoints, which the "2nd stage" would most likely be. Vanish is a game you just open up and start roaming to escape. And because it's possible to beat it fairly quickly, there's no need for it.

There is a mechanic that increases difficulty, currently. However, this again only really applies on your luck.

Oh believe me, we thought of that as well! Haha. And though that would be pretty awesome, it'd take a lot of revamping and additions we don't really have time or resources to do. We're just a small indie team that work on Vanish in our free time for fun.
