Known Bugs Thread - Desura

- Launching desura after update has only a blank form:
This seems to be due to old files hanging around causing issues with the new desura build. Uninstall old desura and use the new installer located at Indiedb.com

I also have a black box (looks more like a command window) appear for a moment then go away when trying to start up Desura. After the box goes away nothing happens, and Desura doesn't start. This issue began after getting the newest update.

Have you tried deinstalling and reinstalling desura again?
In another thread that problem went away when the user with the problem did that (the black login window).

I have toolhelper.exe and "MCF" errors after installing any games, so they won't run. OS: winxp

What does the console say?

Can you take a screen shot of the errors?

Whenever I try to launch desura using the desktop shortcut,nothing happens.I have to uninstall now

My Desura crashes everytime I finish watching a video, no messages, just "This program is not responding".

After logging in, the program window shows up fine, but instead of seeing any webpages it's just blank. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

That happen for all tabs?

every time i save in mount and blade star wars mod version 9.0.3 he says error and if i save & exit the save file is gone please help

Erm... I don't know if I'm too late. But I can't log onto the desktop version, and onto the browser Desura site place... thing. I try to log onto the site, and it just. Does nothing. That's about it, my username (tried email too) disapears, with the password. shutting down Desura, and I could log onto the site just fine. ...

I own M&B:warband and in fact ALL the M&B games on steam.Desura shows all my other steam games as I own them.M&B:warband and otherwise,It does not.Any idea why?

tryed to reinstal multiple times, removing files reinstaling, force update. nothing worked

and it happens in every tab and most of the windows

The console log shows not issue. Does any thing show in the window at all or is it white? Do you have a proxy setup via internet explorer as the browser will try using those settings.

nothing is show, if i change tab it turns black and if i move like any nodesura or desura window above it, it "paints" the view with the window. Only window that seems to work fine is just the console and when using offline mode,

Could the error be that if it cant find thouse temp files it would "corrupt" desura?

What os you running?
Have you tried running a force update?
Sounds like chrome is failing to load (the browser). Can you check event viewer for any logs?
