This could be tough, so i decided not to have a specfic number this time

Awesomely random ... yet so very catchy after a short while!

This one was stuck in my head forever ... Which led me to learn how to play it on guitar T_T

This one left me with a "WTF" expression when i first saw it (just started watching anime):

Just really great use of a violin: (the second opening wasnt too bad either ... but im trying to hide my eureka 7 bias )

Upbeat jazz combined with rap? Its better than you would think! (the anime was incredibly average though)

Great metal opening (also the anime has "Revy" who happens to be my favorite "Bad Girl" character):

This one is more light hearted (although im not sure if its the song i like or i liked the series enough that its biasing my judgement ... I love harima though ... awesome character!)

Lol And all of those were the first animes i watched aswel i was like these are so sad must watch more! cept i cant watch air again for fear of heart attack from the ending

Yea, i cried manly tears as i watched "angel beats!"

It's ... pretty fucking sad D: ... and that ending totally caught me off guard O_O (probably a little too much ... I started wondering about how that's even possible ... because she's not really dead, and she was there long before he came.)

Well there is alot of shit about the ending like some say that Kanade /angel was the programmer who was waiting for Otonashi to return, and stuff but it kinda felt like ther were some plot holes around the end :s but yeh moving ending

For some reason hellsing just didn't fully catch my attention after the first episode (i really should give it a second chance considering its one of the favorites of so many)

And Serial Experiment Lain ... just freaked me right the fuck out ... LOL! It wasn't particularly scary to me ... but the atmosphere alone was just ... uncomfortable >_> ...

Simply Super Nostalgic for me:

This is from Planetes, It's kinda an interesting opening ... the actual anime itself is actually more on the serious side since it talks about mankind's drive to explore. The main character is pretty much the embodiment of this drive, and it's kinda a bitter sweet story overall ...

Loved the opening of this one. The anime seemed to have alot of potential it really really squandered though. The idea of a secret battalion of infantry designed to take out tanks using a huge caliber, single shot, armor piercing pistol as well as paranormal lanterns that chant "Toten Sie" (Kill them) that seemingly suck the fear and basic survival instinct right out of them. There are some really cool scenes in this series where he flips the lantern on and just walks right up to a tank and shoots the people inside it either through a view port or through the armor at point blank range. I cannot stress the mindless state that he does this in ... its as if a zombie had a pistol and was slowly killing people one shot after another. (here's a link of him in action) (sorry about the non-english subtitles ... but you'll get the point)

This series "Fractale" just came out and the intro is just downright trippy ... the music is pretty good though ... i watched the first episode twice just for the intro music ...

This one caught my attention as one being interesting (I have yet to watch it though) ... also you may want to be warned that there is nudity in the intro :o ...

Gintama intro 8 ... It's sorta a bleach-esqe anime in a way where it snowballs characters into the series (adds more and more) (usually "nakama") as the story progresses, however this one doesn't even get to the main story ... its 100% side arcs to the main story ... the entire time it suggests this VERY interesting backstory as well as grudges he may have suggesting the ultimate story behind gintama ... but it never ever gets there >_>

This one is from Maria Holic (Its about a girl who goes to a all girls catholic school and gets discovered that she is a lesbian by a cross dressing dude ):

Paranoia Agent, its psychological anime with a kid who beats the shit out of people with a bat (watched it when I was just getting into anime ... kinda a mistake ):

i think it's the one from ah my goddess season 2 i like the bagpipe in the song makes it sound more classic in that sense

Soranowoto (this isnt the actual opening, but i couldnt find it on youtube :c)

Aquarion (has this gods versus mortals kinda theme to it, however, the entire series was completely ruined by being unoriginal with their power rangers esque combining robots, Neon Genesis Evangelon esque fight scenes against creatures without the gore or psychological moments and the fact that the entire series is pretty much a long running sex joke.)
