Wyrmsun is an open-source RTS game which features elements of mythology, history and fiction.
In the Wyrmsun universe a myriad of inhabited planets exist. Humans dwell on Earth, while dwarves inhabit Nidavellir and elves nourish the world of Alfheim. These peoples struggle to carve a place for themselves with their tools of stone, bronze and iron. And perhaps one day they will meet one another, beyond the stars...

Wyrmsun 2.0.0 is now out! This patch brings major changes to the game, such as the addition of spearmen, of readable scrolls (which provide slight permanent bonuses to heroes), and the addition of 42 new music pieces which Marcelo Fernandez kindly contributed to Wyrmsun!
And the biggest news: Wyrmsun is now free on Steam! And together with the release of this patch, we have launched two new DLCs, the Frankish Faction Flair Pack and the Brising Faction Flair Pack. Players had already bought the game on Steam have automatically been granted the DLCs for free.
The Brising Faction Flair Pack adds news graphics when playing the dwarven Brising Clan, such as their volcanic smithy.
The Frankish Faction Flair Pack enhances Frankish factions with graphics specific to their culture, such as new unit portraits.
In addition, the base game now counts with the addition of spearmen for both civilizations, who are cheaper than swordsmen and axemen and have a bonus against cavalry, but are less armored and deal less damage. Your heroes may now also find scrolls dropped from enemies, which when read grant small permanent bonuses. For example: finding a scroll containing a dwarven poem about the slaying of a mythical wyrm will grant your hero a 1% damage bonus against wyrms.
With the game being made free on Steam, we will no longer provide builds on IndieDB.
A new patch has arrived, bringing custom heroes and an inventory system to the game!
This new patch features the addition of silver and copper, which when gathered are converted to gold at a certain rate.

Why this game crash at earth's quest.(The Battle of Magetobria(Teuton))I try this quest 3 times...
That's fixed now with the latest version :)
Ok~Thanks. :)
Thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it :) Giving units extra HP per level up might make the level ups too strong, I think. The advantages from a level up are supposed to be equivalent to a technology upgrade. But there should definitely be abilities which increase HP before learning all abilities and then getting +15 HP per level-up.
About new races, I want to add more eventually, but the focus right now is on expanding the current playable civilizations. The main issue is that adding new races requires really a lot of new graphics. Adding more playable custom hero types from non-playable races (like the Gnomes, Goblins and Kobolds) would be more feasible, though, since it wouldn't require having the entire tech-tree done for that race. And of course, adding those new unit types would make it easier to make those races playable later on. For instance, if a Gnomish ranged custom hero is added, then that would already make the gnomes a bit closer to having the graphics necessary to be made playable.
Oh,one last thing (maybe?). The most powerful thing about heroes is their inventory... But come on, I can carry 15 potions with me and soloing with him! I think items should have a cooldown,so that the hero doesn't spam potions :P About eight seconds is the time it takes to kill one guy, so it should be ten (so that he doesn't manage to use the potion in time, but considering I play with half of the maximum game speed it's relative) Also, I noticed people drop less stuff, and that's obviously good and stuff, but I think it'd be nice if people dropped more food. I think 3/10 of the foes I slain should drop food. Not a very important detail though :P
