From the earliest PadMaps came the mod PadWorld, and now from that distinguished provenance comes the next colourful evolution, the World of Padman. Developed and headed by the professional cartoonist and illustrator ENTE, PadWorld Entertainment, the team behind World of Padman proudly present a free multi player game for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux that's powered by an extended Quake3-Engine based on the source of ioquake3.
WoP is the domain of ENTE's comic strip super-hero bad-boy Padman and his motley crew, and their mission is to make your game with some seriously addictive fun, whatever your skill level and whatever character role you jump into.
Over the years maps have been revamped, bot play improved, killer-ducks kept hungry, weapons re-polished, menu's redesigned and much more, such as new sounds, skins, secrets, effects, and power-ups! In all, there are 23 maps. Each supports up to 7 game types, comprising WoP's unique Spray Your Color (SYC), Spray Your Color Team (TSYC), Last Pad Standing (LPS), Big Balloon (BB) and of course Capture the Lolly (CTL), as well as those old favourites Free For All (FFA), Free For All Team (TFFA). Meet scaled-up and richly detailed maps of everyday places where imaginative characters go berserk with an array of colourful plastic weaponry and power-ups. Start rockin' to the soundtrack of Dieselkopf and Neurological soundtrack and the Pad-Anthem performed by Green Sun, so grab those earphones.
When you visit WoP's web site and the forum be sure to check out the mighty server browser to see who's playing on-line. Install and keep the game updated via Desura digital distribution platform.

Three crazy members (watch the photo) of the World of Padman development team met at GamesCom in Cologne, the biggest international gaming expo of Europe, back in 2010. Two years later doomdragon, ENTE and Kai will meet there again on Thursday, August 16th. If you'll join the gaming masses too, watch out for those blue shirts with the WoP icon on it. If you like, don't hesitate to get in contact with us. Maybe you have to search a little, because we are there as simple visitors like you and everyone else. It would be nice to meet some community members or WoP fans. See you there and come back visiting our website a few days later. We will prepare some expo-report for you.
Furthermore there is a new Ashley Appletree webcomic available, created by our talented model artist Sebastian Henke aka doomdragon. It's an all ages comic introducing Ashley and here family moving into a new house in Swampton. There she stumbles upon adventures and discovers something supernatural. Sebastian shows off a wonderful and great sense of humour which keeps you smiling for sure. He releases his lovely comic every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You should go checking it out immediately or follow him on Twitter for news and updates. Thumbs up for this!

One of the most polished indie games around with insane maps, innovative gameplay and a unique art style that pushes the ioQuake3 engine to its limits.
Great fun and the attention to detail alone makes this game worthy of your time.

I keep on getting a Error:
Couldn't load default.cfg. See "/Users/***********/Library/Application Support/WorldOfPadman/wop/crashlog.txt" for details.
By the way I use a MAC OSX
Are you using the full version of the game? wop-1.5.x-to-1.6-patch-unified.zip is just a patch which needs to be applied to the wop-1.5.1-full.dmg
Unfortunately I can't give you instructions on how to do that, since I don't have a Mac.
This game made me laugh so hard man! Super fun, well done developers :D

PARENTS BEWARE!
My son played this game religeiously. It inspired him to join the Navy where he met Bob and Ralph. I blame this game for turning my son gay. If it was not for this game, he would have never concitered joining the millitary... He hated guns, and first person shooters.
